> I love the location of my house but the quality of this builder is very poor. I have been having plumbing after plumbing issues and can not contact this builder. They do not answer the phone and I don't think Mattie Jones even exist. Stay clear from this builder.

**★ — Natalie M, April 2020**

> I love my home and lot; however, I was not pleased with my service through Grayhawk Homes.
> On the day of my inspection, less than an hour before my closing items were not complete, not painted or repaired. The superintendent assured me that the items would be fixed before we closed and therefore in good faith I signed off on my inspection documents. While, he did send photos of things he completed. Things were still not completely done when I returned to the home. I thought I would be able to address the issues with the inspector when he returned, however, Grayhawk used one inspector to walk through the initial inspection and apply blue tape for issues and another to come through and express how he is excellent at remembering every piece of blue tape that he has put in homes over the years, however, because he did not do my initial inspection, he could not confirm that things I expressed concern for were not fixed and I had already signed in good faith. Which led me to infer that this is done intentionally, because I do believe if the gentlemen who initially did my inspection returned, he couldn't have looked me in my face and discarded legitimate issues that had not been addressed.
>
> Issues Not Addressed:
> Leaking ceiling in a brand-new home, required a new paint job. They painted the ceiling in a different obvious color. Painted it again in right color and missed 2-3 areas. The inspector told me that's why they left me paint. Considering it was a brand-new house, they wouldn't even fix what they had done wrong upfront. Piss poor customer service, lack of regard for the quality of their work/reputation and my investment.
>
> Blue tape spots noted in inspection that were painted again as a repair, was painted in different color, or not blended with paint already on the wall. The inspector simply told me he couldn't tell the difference. In other words, he did not pay for a brand-new home and therefore, he did not care. As a veteran who’s traveled, I've moved into rented spaces that had a better paint job.
>
> They left white sheet rock pieces in my brand-new fireplace. When I mentioned it during inspection to the first inspector put blue tape for it. When the second inspector returned and it hadn't been taken care of, he, told me to unscrew the fireplace myself and take it out.
>
> My bathroom tile squeaks and makes cracking noise when you walk. My bedroom floor squeaks and makes cracking noise so loud you can hear it down stairs in the living room. This is just unreal for a brand-new home.
>
> My bathroom tub window has brown water spots in the paint.
>
> They built a home across the street almost identical in color (siding a slight shade darker) and same color bricks and no other home in the neighborhood has this comparison or issue.
>
> They did not completely take up the black barrier material or stakes out of my yard.
>
> The blue tape is a shady way of improving inspected issues, because everything is not noted. The initial inspector simply put 50 pieces of blue tape. The new inspector tells me he does not know what those 50 pieces represented. Therefore, they are not obligated to fix my issues in a brand-new home.
>
> I sent Grayhawk a certified letter regarding my concerns and they never responded. As my home was already built, I pleaded with them not use the same colors on the new home right across the street and they refused. As it is mentioned I too believe they believe in quantity over quality. As a veteran and first-time homeowner, this was a sore experience for me and my family. It is a hard pill to swallow, knowing you've invested in a brand-new home for a reason and it is not delivered in a brand-new condition. I also believe they could care less about their customers and it is unfortunate. I will never recommend their business to anyone.

> We purchased a home through Grayhawk in June of 2018 and could not be happier. They do quality work, have solid business ethics, and are all around enjoyable to work with.

**★★★★★ — Franklin Mooney, Sept. 2019**

> When you are buying a new house you need to focus on two categories: the livability of the house design and the quality of the builder. Grayhawk excels in both categories and ads to the experience a team of professionals that care about their product and your experience. If an item needs correction or attention their team reacts with speed to detail an action plan for resolution. I have brought several new houses and Grayhawk stands above the rest. I would not hesitate to recommend. Good People and a great house!

**★★★★★ — Adrian S. Cutchshaw Architectural Design+Build, April 2016**

> Wonderful people to work with! Very trustworthy folks who build quality homes. I love their new product line of house designs.

**Comment from Grayhawk Homes:**

> Adrian, thank you for the wonderful review! We are very appreciative of your kind words.

**★★★★ — mikeforce72, July 2013**

> Very prfessional and easy to work with. Quality of some work/materials was sub par. For example the laminate wood floor is very soft and ding/scratches too easily.
