Most importantly, Jonathan is the most trustworthy and respectful person to work with and everyone who works with him was equally courteous, clean and conscientious. I had no problem leaving workers in the house alone and always came home to a clean work area. Previously, only one half was "finished", and that was from the 1970's and a linoleum floor. In addition, the basement regularly took on water during rainstorms of any nontrivial duration. Sage Builders gutted the entire basement area, put in a french drain to control the water problem, insulated the entire space, and then finished it, with a fine finish on one half the rough finish on the other. In the process, at their suggestion, we took the opportunity to update things like electric and plumbing where needed. The final product is gorgeous, dry (and we've had some intense rainstorms in the years since), holds its temperature well, and highly functional for the multiple purposes to which we put it (i.e. office, TV room, sewing, on the finished site, and exercise and laundry room on the other side). Jonathan Kantar of Sage Builders was recommended to us by our lawyer. Jonathan and his company responded to our call immediately. They effectively and cordially cooperated with our adjuster and the insurance company, provided them with detailed information and accompanied them at the house. Best to ask your floor installer for specific recommendations as he'll have to assume responsibility for performance. Cheers! **Q: center island color** *(in Photo Questions)* wondering what color the center island is? A: I'm sorry to say that I cannot find the information you requested. While we keep very detailed records of products and finishes used in our projects I don't have the paint color for the island. The kitchen cabinets were supplied by an outside vendor and I don't have that level of detail. I recommend consulting the Historical Colors by Benjamin Moore to find a color that approximates the one used here. Wish I could be more helpful. **Q: are these cabinets also white dove?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: These cabinets are Benjamin Moore HC-35 Powell Buff (low Sheen). We wanted to have a little contrast and distinction between the areas of the kitchen. This color works very well in the bright natural light. **Q: Did the owners use an interior designer?
