> We wanted to replace our master bathroom vanity top. A neighbor had recently had some counter replacements and recommended Granite Center. We visited Granite Center. The first impression was WOW! The showroom is outstanding. The showroom provides a great overview of Granite Center products, design options and craftsmanship. We were greeted by Amy, a designer. Amy was professional, courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. We were given a tour of the Granite Center’s large, impressive inventory of product offerings. After further discussions, Amy provided recommendations, a cost estimate and setup an appointment to confirm measurements. We made a return visit to the Granite Center to look at the material we wanted one more time and confirm the price. While there, we met the Granite Center owner, Mr. Okumus - Bahri. Bahri is one of the nicest and most knowledgeable people we have the pleasure to know. Bahri made us feel like family. He took the time to answer all of our questions, and guide us in selecting the best product for our needs. The countertop, the installation, scheduling and the completion of the plumbing work were all excellent. Based on the excellent service, and quality provided by Granite Center, we decided to have Granite Center provide us options and cost for replacement of our kitchen backsplash. Bahri and Amy came through for us again. They helped us in the matching of new backsplash material with our current kitchen countertops. After product selection, measurement and agreeing on cost, we decided to move ahead. This was a much bigger job. It required the removal of the current backsplash and repair of the drywall as needed. The results of all steps on the project were excellent. The old backsplash was removed, drywall repaired, the new backsplash installed expertly, on scheduled and for the cost we were quoted. Two projects completed flawlessly and the countertop and backsplash are beautiful. Bahri and Amy thank you both. We recommend Granite Center. .

Everything we bought was great quality and the work was done professionally. It only took a day to schedule the measurements for the counter top and another couple of days to put it on. > Ordered three large 2 cm thick marble slabs to remodel the walls of a 60" x 36" shower stall.  When the slabs came into the Center, we were called to come review them.  Even though we approved the slabs, when they began to cut them the Granite Center discovered a color variation that we had not seen and called us.  Boy, were they right. We were very glad they contacted us.  New pieces came in and were cut and delivered this past Saturday.  The installation team were amazing.  These pieces are very heavy that it took 5 of them to carry the pieces up the stairs to the project site.  No complaints from any of them.  They did whatever it took to get the job done and it looks beautiful.  This took intense attention to detail and massive coordination to lift these pieces into place without damaging cabinets, walls or ceiling.  This is our third project with the Granite Center having already remodeled the kitchen and a half bath.  This master bath project was the most challenging and I am so impressed I will definitely include them on the next project.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Need help for living room.** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Photos show me small LR. The fabric is of love seat (solid) and spool chair (floral). Everything else is needed. Any suggestions for area rug, additional furniture?

A: Looks like you have a decent amount of light in the room.  I would go with frappe or sonnet by BM, I would recommend a jute rug with a lt blue border, they sell them at Pottery Barn..this will give added texture!
