> By far one of the top design groups out theres. If there is a New Development in Brooklyn that catches your eye, chances are, they are behind it. Pushing for quality materials and construction while few do.

> We worked with Meshberg Group on renovating our new studio space in the fall of 2014. As we are a design agency, we were very particular with the design of our space and Adam and his team were more than patient with us. The collaborative design experience with Meshberg Group was fantastic and we couldn't be happier with the results. In addition to working with us on the design of the space, they were also extremely helpful in overseeing the project all the way through to completion.

> The Meshberg Group is an exceptional organization. We have always felt that they deliver on every promise and more often than not exceed our admittedly high expectations. Our projects are in extremely competitive markets and our tenant's expectations are near perfection. While we are not perfect Meshberg Group has been essential in our ability to deliver. Without exception I give them my highest recommendation.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Brand/Color and size of floor and wall tile? Thank you!** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: You're welcome. The floor tiles are 24x24 and the wall/tub tiles are 12x24.

**Q: dimensions** *(in Photo Questions)*

Hi, I would like to know the length of the wall (where there's the refrigerator, etc.) if possible. Thank you

A: Hi, the wall is around 14ft long.
thanks MG

**Q: Home Theater suggestions** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Hello all,
I have this bonus room upstairs and I'm just looking to get some suggestions from you guys on some designs. I'm thinking of getting some home theater seats for the room, but I'm not sure about speaker set up, or sound panels/curtains, or A/V rack or console, or making a dry bar, etc. What makes it tough is the ceiling opposite of the door is slanted so it makes the room kind of awkward. I've created some renders, they arent the best but here they are. I'm open to all ideas... And thanks in advance!

A: Hi Jarvis,
First off, I would suggest maybe doing a big sectional couch or a U shaped sofa, rather than home theater seats. They can be expensive.
Projector vs TV -
TVs now a days are not too expensive and you can get an 80" for the cost of a nice projector.
Projector lamps burn out, and you need darkness.
Sound System -
For 5.1 or 7.1 there are lots of choices, but I would design a small built in to conceal the equipment and use red eyes so you don't have to see the boxes. I would build them on either side of the doors. Make sure to add vents for equipment.
That said, 5.1 is probably good enough, unless you are a major audiophile. Mount speakers under TV, but not too low for center channel and LR.
Then the rear can be up in the ceiling or on stands. The woofer can actually be in front, too.
To finish it off, nice thick curtains will absorb the sound and block out the light.
Happy viewing,
Adam

**Q: Kitchen Finishes.** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you tell me more about the cabinets (who makes them) and what type of counter top that is? Beautiful!

A: hi, This is all custom designed in our office. Cabinets are rift white oak and counters are calcutta gold.
thanks MG

**Q: What is the ceiling** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: concrete
