Sarah Helf is an NCIDQ certified Interior Designer with nearly 20 years of experience.  She entered into the design industry at a full service furniture showroom on the north side of Chicago. Her high level of design and client communication skills led her to assume the General Manager role. Soon after she was offered a position as the project manager for a high-end, residential design firm in downtown Chicago.

In 2009 she begin her own business, Sarah Helf Interior Design.  Projects range from three story single-family homes to one-bedroom apartments. Sarah gives her personal attention to every project and works directly with the clients and their ideas, to develop spaces that are functional, inviting and beautiful.

She has currently relocated her business to Madison, Wisconsin.  With a diverse portfolio she hopes to bring fresh ideas to a new client base.

Sarah received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the CIDA (formerly FIDER) accredited program in the Department of Architecture and Interior Design at Miami University.

> Sarah did a major living room makeover which included raising a sunken floor, adding a new solid wood floor to blend with an existing solid wood floor and working with the installers to make sure everything was exactly right.  Designing the room and selecting/recommending furniture (including an 8' x 24' bookcase) and accessories including rugs, drapes and shades.  She also blended several of our existing pieces into the design,  We could not be happier. She also re-designed a laundry/mud room and an office snd both came out very well.  Sarah is professional, knowledgible, easy to work with, has extensive contacts, and is confident in her designs (we needed a gently knudge from time to time and we are glad we listened to her).  She can provide as much or as little assistance as you need.  We highly recommend Sarah!
