Hangliter, July 2026** > I’d like to start by saying the fence itself looks great- the laborers were fast and the sales guy we worked with was great. However customer service is nonexistent and once Fence and Deck has been paid they could care less. Our fence was completed last Friday and shortly after they left we realized we had no running water. It was 5 pm on a Friday. I immediately called our project manager (who we met once and never heard from again before or during install, you would think the project manager would be there during install?). Explained to him that we thought the laborers may have hit the well pump electric since we checked and our breaker was tripped. The hose was out too so you could tell that the laborers had tried to use the hose to clean up and also realized there was no running water. He offered no solutions, no empathy and immediately brought up that they are not liable for private utilities and to check our contract. We were treated like just another sale and not humans. At no point during the sales, marking or install process did anybody from Fence and Deck connection mention that our well was not covered by Miss Utility (nor did miss utility ever come out for the normal marking) or bring up any concern with the proximity of the fence to our well. We just spent $19k on a fence and you would think that our project manager would be more willing to find a solution other than “this has never happened before”. We have a 1 year old infant and were left with no running water in a heat wave. We had to have an after hours well company come out, run temporary electric to get water for the weekend and then have them come back out and dig a trench and rerun new electric. They pinpointed the previous wire was cut right at a fence post. We are out thousands of dollars to repair negligent work done by Fence and Deck. We have waited days for a call back from somebody “higher up” and keep getting passed from manager to manager. This is not how customer service works, especially for such a large expense. We are thoroughly disappointed and will ensure that all of our neighbors, friends and family know who to not hire for their fence and deck needs. **★★★★★ — Sheline Williams-White, April 2026** > Great job!! The installation supervisor (Francisco) came out to review the placement specifically, and after installation came back to inspect it for completion. A: The lumber used on this project is Southern Yellow Pine (pressure treated). **Q: What are the colours used in the decking?** *(in Photo Questions)* Colours in the decking? A: Trex Transcend Decking in Tiki Torch and Lava Rock. **Q: Deck looks great. How do you like the color?** *(in Photo Questions)* Was looking at doing a deck in this exact color from Trex. How does it stand up to dirt and stains? Does it show everything or do pretty well? A: Ropeswing is a great color and because of its light color tone it doesn’t absorb as much heat as darker tones and it compliments most siding colors. Trex’s Transcend line includes a protective shell on the top and sides of the deck board to provide the best protection for fading and staining. We do recommend you do a semi-annual cleaning using soap or water or possibly a gentle pressure washing.
