**★★★★★ — Steve and Kathleen, June 2024**

> From the first time my husband and I stepped inside the showroom floor of DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen we were welcomed by Patti immediately. Her wealth of knowledge and customer service had us making an appointment for that day with her husband, Everett. He too, shined with customer service and instilled the confidence in my husband and I on his ability, and the ability of his operational team, to create a new and beautiful walk in shower. His attention to detail was exceptional! Everett, Patti, and Erica patiently answered all of our questions and made sure we were happy with the work each step of the way.
>
> The whole process was made easy for my husband and I. Everett met us at our home, provided the estimate, right down to the finishing touches that would need to be done on our bathroom. Then we met with Stevie who provided the cost of the materials, and she was able to create the type of style we were looking for, all while staying within our budget.
>
> All the people we interacted with, Travis, who coordinated the day to day activities, and was our contact person for the operational team. Kenny and Chad who showed up everyday building and installing our beautiful shower, all so very professional in every way, and did excellent work. They were very neat, cleaned up daily, and was respectful of our home.
>
> Lastly, my husband and I would like to say we trust your company completely and it’s been the best company we have worked with as far as upgrades to our home. We look forward to working with DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen in the future. Thank you so much for our beautiful shower.

> Four adults live in my 32-year old house and as much as I loathe home renovation, there comes a time when you need a professional to make your space liveable. DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen have in the past decade remodeled our kitchen, master bath, and most recently, they turned our hall bath into something that would rival any master bathroom. I have quirky, specific ideas about what I want -- and DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen always listens, and gets me what I want. I work at home and a reconstruction project means workmen doing their "dirty jobs" right next to my office -- and everyone Patty and Everett sent to do "the next step" were friendly, respectful, kind, and would answer any questions I had. If I had an emergency, someone would come over in the midst of the storm. If their personnel had emergencies, they still texted me and kept track of the project. I have cats and they were very conscientious about not letting them out or letting them "get out." Production delays, shipping delays, and employee shortages plague everyone in construction but DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen keep their promises and treat their customers as family.

> It was a pleasure working with Everett, Patty and the team at DreamMaker! From design to completion of two bathrooms remodeling projects, the DreamMaker team made dragging our house out of the 80’s a positive experience! On the job site, Tommy, Hal and Miguel were courteous, conscientious and made sure the site was cleaned up daily. When sub-contractors were present, they also showed the same professionalism. Stevie worked behind the scenes making sure all of the materials were ordered and delivered in a timely manner and Charlene was very helpful in the design phase of the projects. My husband and I would definitely recommend DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen!

> Just attended a seminar held by Everett and Patty with DreamMakers with an emphasis on designing for aging in place. They were very informative, bringing up things to consider when remodeling for our forever home that we never would have thought of, such as wider doors and making things accessible. If you plan on doing remodeling, highly recommend attending a DreamMakers seminar.

**Comment from DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen:**

> Thank you Charlotte for attending and for your kind words. It was our pleasure to meet you and we are glad that we could shed some new light on "living-in-place".

**★★★★★ — Justine Sor, April 2018**

> WOW!!! The team at Dreammaker did a excellent job on our Master bathroom remodel. They took extra care from start to finish, we never had to worry, they took care of everything very professionally. The team that Everett and Patty has working for them was perfect, from Jeum, Tommy to Shar (designer) and Dustin the contractor. They were able to take the vision and turn it into reality. Thank you,
> Justine S

**Comment from DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen:**

> Justine, it has been our absolute pleasure to work with both you and Kevin. The attention to detail throughout the design and sales process and during the production phase produced an over- the- top beautiful bathroom! Your choice in cabinetry, tile, quartz, chandelier, and wall colors is rich and inviting. The finer hotels have nothing on you!
> If I may clarify, Dustin, is actually one of our Lead Carpenters but a fine craftsman and man of integrity. Everett Gray is actually the general contractor behind our business since 1983.
> We are very happy for you and know that you will enjoy your master bath for a lifetime. Thank you again for trusting our company with your home and project.

**★★★★★ — Denise Compton, April 2018**

> Having heard horror stories of kitchen remodels, we decided to hire professionals for our job and let them have all the headaches. We interviewed several people before we decided on Patty and Everett Gray at Dreammakers. We appreciated their professionalism, their low pressure approach, their honesty and their humor! We spent a great deal of time (a couple of months!) on the plans for our kitchen. I would change my mind on something, Everett would draw it up and I wouldn't like it. He may have muttered under his breath but to me he was always patient and quite willing to make another drawing. He even sent the plans to the cabinet manufacturers for a quote and we still made some changes after that. All that time paid off as the design of my kitchen is exactly as I wanted! I urge you to really take your time on the design phase of your project as this is the most important step. The demolition phase went very smoothly as they covered all doorways with plastic and cleaned every day to minimize dust in the house. It was a long process but I take responsibility for changing my mind on the backsplash and other details and they patiently waited for ME! I love Everett's attitude of “It can be done.” He found a way to fix any problem that arose. And there were problems, but I gave them all over to him! I felt that was what we were paying for as much as a fabulous kitchen. And I’m sure Everett had headaches over our project but he took care of every last detail. We could have paid a lot less but I do believe that “You get what you pay for.” Our kitchen is stunning and I enjoy cooking in it every day because everything is so convenient and well designed. If I have one complaint it is that I would have hired my own painting contractors. I expressed my concerns to Patty and Everett and they may have changed contractors by now. When the project was over the Grays hosted a cocktail and hors d'oeuvre party to showcase our kitchen to our friends and neighbors and the compliments are still coming! For all the time we spent together, we feel like the Grays are almost family now and I cherish their friendship.

**Comment from DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen:**

> Thank you so much Denise for your kind words and we certainly feel the same way. Working with a contractor can become very intimate at times when we are talking about lifestyle, habits, family gatherings, friends, etc., and we certainly learned a lot about your lifestyle, family and future plans in the planning process. You are so right to encourage thorough planning from the very start, that is what will certainly make or break a successful project. WE love what we do and certainly love seeing the transformations and yours, Denise was absolutely amazing!!! Thank you for being such wonderful clients and for the hard work you also put into seeing your dream come true, it is truly a partnership. We yes, we have also enjoyed getting to know you and Jeff and forming a relationship beyond being your contractor. Here's to you Jeff and Denise!!! Thank you for the privilege.

**★★★★★ — Janet Murphy, Aug. 2017**

> There will come a time when you realize that you can't do it all yourself, and have the painful decision to, \*gulp\*, hire a contractor.... DreamMaker IS the go-to place! Their Number one concern is YOU. Extremely professional and helpful! No headaches, worries, or concerns. I never once heard the word "no"! I had a bathroom remodel that turned out exactly the way I wanted! The attention to detail of the project is so professional, and they have an extreme consideration for the rest of my home while at work. I will be getting my other bathroom done and it will be as easy as just one call to DreamMaker!

**Comment from DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen:**

> Thank you Janet for your review. It is a big decision for sure to hire a contractor and then finding the right contractor is the hardest part. We appreciate your kind words and the opportunity to work alongside of you and your vision for your project. It was our total pleasure, thank YOU!

**★★★★★ — Bob Meadows, July 2017**

> Everett and Patty Gray and their team transformed our 24 year old bathroom into a modern work of functional beauty. They have a fantastic team of project supervisors, designers and contractors who share the same attitude of having their customers filled with amazement and appreciation when the project is completed. They communicated well, hit their deadlines and demonstrated professionalism every step of the way. My wife's dream bathroom is a reality.

**Comment from DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen:**

> Bob and Vicki, It was our pleasure to work alongside you both to see your bathroom transformed. Your corner cabinetry, roll outs, beautiful backsplash and granite gave your master bath a custom look and exceptional functionality. I love the shower material right down to the pebble floor that was chosen. It is a beauty! We are confident that you will enjoy for a lifetime! Thank you again for choosing DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen to be your remodeling specialist.

**★★★★★ — Lindsay Ashley, June 2017**

> I really couldn't be happier with the finished product of DreamMaker Bakersfield. The DreamMaker Bakersfield team made every step of the remodel process as painless as possible. The level of professionalism displayed by the entire DreamMaker team is first class.

> My husband and I knew we wanted to do the two bathroom remodels, but the ideas presented to us by Darren and Everett are what sold us on the project. The pictures we were able to view on the website of various remodels completed by DreamMaker, as well as the conversations and brainstorming that occurred with Darren and Everett, were very influential. The home walk through with Darren and Everett where they could see first hand what we had to work with, was extremely helpful when making the final decision to move forward with the remodeling project. Receiving real time, honest feedback, was most appreciated.

**★★★★★ — peggy swank, April 2017**

> Several years ago Dream Maker successfully remodeled two bathrooms for us and as a result they earned our trust and made then the clear choice of contractors for our recent kitchen, wet bar and laundry room remodel. The Dream Maker Team was very patient and helpful in creating a plan that met our needs and wants as well as our budget. The Dream Maker contractors are good listeners and demonstrated keen attention to details such as planing, workmanship and expertise.
> Our needs were unique to us and Dream Maker helped us navigate through with timely and beautiful results. We love our remodel and are grateful to Dream Maker for making it all possible and painless.

**★★★★★ — Charlotte Figureida, Feb. 2017**

Respect, integrity, customer focus and having fun in the process. Job well done!! Loving my kitchen! THANK YOU!!!

> Thank you for your review. Our Code of Values is the foundation of our company that we take very seriously. It has been our pleasure to work with you throughout our process!

**★★★★★ — Linda Chapman, Dec. 2016**

> After months of getting quotes from various companies and talking to friends, neighbors, and family, I finally decided on DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen - Bakersfield, CA. Virtually everyone I spoke with about home remodeling had their own personal horror story about their projects. These ranged form poor workmanship, time frames not being kept, unprofessional behavior, and various other complaints. I even had a friend end up with liens on his house because the contractor had not paid subcontractors! After receiving a referral list from DreamMakers, I made about forty phone calls and everyone single one I spoke to had nothing but praise for DreamMakers! While they were on the higher end of the quotes we received, we decided to go with DreamMakers and I am so happy we did! The project, the kitchen and three bathrooms went off without a hitch! From start to finish we received expert assistance with products, materials, color coordination, etc. Every one of their employees was clean, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. They kept our house as clean as possible during the project and had professional cleaners come in at the end. Their work was finished ahead of schedule and without any of the horror stories many people seem to experience with remodeling projects! We could not be more pleased with their work and plan on using them in the future to get our master bath remodeled. Everett and Patty Gray, thank you so much for everything! Sincerely, Linda Chapman

**Comment from DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen:**

> Linda, thank you for your kind words. I appreciate the fact that you did your homework before hiring a contractor and that you found that your experience with our company met and exceeded your expectations. You and Pete have been a total pleasure to work with and we would be honored to remodel your master bath.

## Community Q&A

**Q: What’s the name of the granite?** *(in Photo Questions)*

So pretty.

A: We believe it is Crema Bordeaux. Hope that helps!

**Q: where can I find the medicine cabinet?** *(in Photo Questions)*

love the medicine cabinet. Do you know the brand or where I may find it?

A: Thank you for asking. The cabinetry is made by Showplace Wood Products but the medicine cabinet was actually owner provided and we installed. I do not know where they purchased it.

**Q: love this granite- what color is it?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: I apologize. I no longer have records for this project. It is a 10 year old project but was definitely ahead of its time and very revelant for today.

**Q: what are the dimensions of this island?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Could you tell me the dimensions of this island? Also, do you have the widths between the island and the side cabinetry? Thanks!

A: Roughly 6 ft by 36" and definitely no less than 42" from any other given countertop. Thank you for your interest! A beautiful transitional kitchen. Acturally the cabinets were refaced and new cabinets added where needed. The kitchen just sold the house!

**Q: Paint color** *(in Photo Questions)*

Hi, please tell what color is the wall and is the floor tile and shower the wood look porcelain, if so what color is this?

A: Thank you for asking. I'm happy that you like the look of our project, one of my favorite small baths that we have done. The paint color is: Sherwin Williams SW 7619 Laborite and the tile is a porcelain travertine look from Emzer Tile - Color: Boulevard Gracia.

**Q: Easy reach** *(in Photo Questions)*

Are these 12" doors? Do you feel that is ample access ? Thank you!
