We got several estimates from other "big" pool builders. James wasn't the cheapest, but we choose to go with him because we loved the fact that he is THE owner and would personally oversee every aspect of the project. The other companies subcontracted all the jobs and said they would be available if needed or after some of the steps. James was present in my backyard on a frequent basis. If I had a question or concern, I had James' personal cell number and would call him directly- if he was unavailable, he would get back to me promptly. When the pool was finished, there were a couple of things that didn't meet with our approval, but James made sure that they were resolved in a timely manner and completely to our satisfaction. When the pool inspector wouldn't pass us because he didn't like the latches on our doors, James personally came out with a tool kit and installed self-latching devices on all of our doors! Most important, his dedication to site meetings, frequent correspondence, and clients who, to be honest, were obsessively detail oriented was nothing short of remarkable. He never seem fazed by our repetitive questions yet met every one with his highly affable manner and innate professionalism. He personally saw the project right through every phase from excavation to construction, tiling to completion.
