The origins of Lapsley, Inc  actually dates back to 1970. when Osie and Mildred Lapsley owned and operated a drapery workroom for 25 years, O & M Lapsley Custom Draperies. They fabricated and then installed custom draperies for mostly residential clients.

After years of dormancy, their daughter, Donita Mudd, reprised the family Window Treatment business in 2003 as Lapsley, Inc. Now the 2nd and 3rd generations have expanded the business to pursue commercial and government projects. Our focus includes all market sectors and if feasible, we go where the work is. As a Window Treatment Contractor, our expertise has grown to include High Volume, Motorization, Automation Integration, LEED considerations, Daylight Harvesting, and the various contracting methods (Design/Build, Design/Bid/Build, Construction Management at Risk) as a Subcontractor or Direct. All installations are self-performed.
We handle each job from takeoff, proposal, submittal, field measure, product procurement, project management and installation to closeout and warranty response if required. Each project, regardless of size has our full focus to exceed the expectations of our client. We know the best way to grow this company is by our performance results.
As we grow, our community grows from jobs that teach and utilize construction skills, attention to detail, craftsmanship, pride in work and strict adherence to safe work practices.
