> “Integrity”… that is the word that sums up our experience with John Williams the owner of North Star Construction.
> Our story started this summer of 2015.  John’s bid was the 3rd bid.  It was the closest to our expectations.  My husband, myself and our 2 teenage children built our own house.  We started in 1985 & received our certificate of occupancy in 1988.  We wanted an extra 2 car garage added to store “my” boat.  My husband would have done this project but he has had surgeries on his back, knees, and ankle and almost lost his right arm last fall to an accident that sported an infection in the surgical site; therefore we knew this project would be too taxing.
> North Star, John, gave us a bid and “stuck” to it. Unexpected problems:  First, the P&Z could not find our final inspection. And I couldn’t find the certificate of occupancy they issued us.  John meet us at the P&Z and with the help of a wonder lady that works there, we found a copy of the OC in their archives…thanks
>   John went the extra mile to find a vinyl siding that matched our “no longer produced” siding and color…thanks
>  He went the extra mile to go to the same retail store to purchase roofing that matched our new 2013 roof…thanks
>  He went the extra mile to make sure our plan for a “no concrete” in the extra garage (until we can afford it.) Would be ok with P&Z…thanks
> He went the extra mile to not only place but programmed a panel on the outside of our garage allowing us easy access into the garage.  The installer said he would do it…but that didn’t happen. So John came through…thanks

> Northstar Construction was one of many that we considered to to a bathroom installation. We chose them because of their professionalism. They came and looked at the job and shortly afterwards gave us a detailed quote for the job. Because it is an older house, there were a few unexpected problems but they handled it well. They communicated well with us as they worked through some of the problems with older plumbing, etc. It was easy to get a hold of the owner as well. He would either answer his phone right away or get back with us in a very reasonable amount of time.
