Throughout the design process, she provided creative solutions to improve the flow of the house always keeping in mind our goals for the finished project. It was clear from the beginning that she listened to us and was able to translate that into an architectural design. The designs were not only visually appealing, but she was able to explain the purpose of each decision. She walked through plans in an organized, systematic manner that helped keep us on target. We are detail-oriented individuals, so it is easy for us to go on a tangent or get bogged down in the options. She addressed those details without getting us off track or overwhelmed. She had excellent experience guiding the decisions required in a renovation. She helped us with clearance and spacing concerns that were hard to visualize until the project was finished. We had unexpected and unusual structural issues arise, and Tess worked quickly and effectively with our contractor to provide different solutions. Her suggestions have all been on target and some of the changes are features we now love. Ultimately, the project reflected the intention of the design, our style and goals of the project. She was very professional throughout the entire process, easy to work with, and did an excellent job of guiding us toward smart decisions that produced a cohesive result. Our lives were much easier by hiring Tess for this project. **★★★★★ — Bauscher Construction & Remodeling, Inc., April 2017** > Our team has worked with Square Inch Design on a number of projects. Tess' friendly and professional approach comes through in everything she does. She listens exceptionally well and interprets clients ideas, photos and dreams into creative solutions that are also fundamentally sound. I have and will continue to recommend her to our clients in the future. **★★★★★ — Kathleen OHara, Feb. 2017** > We hired Tess for a kitchen redesign and remodel we had been dreaming of for years. From our first meeting, she was organized and professional, and she did an excellent job of explaining everything that we could expect - from her process and fees to what to look for in a contractor. She gave us many options, always keeping the needs of our family, the best use of the space and our design goals in mind. She never missed a deadline and was highly responsive to any questions or concerns we had. Once construction began, she remained active in the project and was always available to ourselves and the contractors to ensure that our shared vision came to life as planned. Her design skills are top-notch and her professionalism is first-class. We would definitely recommend Tess and Square Inch Design to anyone looking to redesign his or her space - and we would work with her again in a heartbeat! ## Selected projects - [Hollow Renovation](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/hollow-renovation-pj-vj~7071685) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 13 - [Indian Hill Renovation](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/indian-hill-renovation-pj-vj~6771188) - Location: Cincinnati, OH - Photos: 21 - [Riverview residence (Part 2)](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/riverview-residence-part-2-pj-vj~6761791) - Location: Cincinnati, OH - Photos: 24 - [Riverview Residence (Part 1)](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/riverview-residence-part-1-pj-vj~5889188) - Location: Cincinnati, OH - Photos: 20 - [Modern Farmhouse](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/modern-farmhouse-pj-vj~6635951) - Location: Cincinnati, OH - Photos: 14 - Description: A for-market house finished in 2021.
