Heather Giovannelli, owner of Ritual House, is a Los Angeles native, born and raised in Granada Hills, California. She has a diverse design background in commercial, hospitality, and residential architecture and interior design. Since 2003, she has designed a number of large, and small-scale projects from the Mall of the Emirates in Dubai, to residential projects all over California, and the Virgin Islands. Always thinking 10 steps ahead, her intense attention to detail, architecture, construction knowledge, project management, and problem-solving lend a unique well-managed, and organized approach to each project.

> Heather was the designer of my home in the US Virgin Islands named Indo House. Building a home in this region is challenging to say the least but Heather was the best part of the building process hands down. She made everything so incredibly enjoyable from the initial design phase, sourcing and logistics, all the way through completion. The design itself speaks to Heather’s talents but what one can’t see is all the behind the scenes work and thoughtfulness that goes into building a home. They only see the finished product. What can never be seen through a finished product are the challenges (and sometimes even nightmares) to reach that point. The collaboration with Heather was so smooth and easy it felt like we had worked on a project before, which we hadn’t. 99% of the time I agreed with Heather’s approach. In the rare, 1% off case that I did not, Heather truly listened to the feedback that I gave her to come up with a solution based off my feedback which made the pace of the project continue actually ahead of schedule. Additionally, she took the logistics nightmare (keep in mind this house was build partially curing covid) completely off my plate and problem solved the supply chain issues magically. I think I actually didn’t even realize how difficult this was until I heard about it from others. That is how good she was. This is what I mean by what you can’t see or contextual when just looking at the finished product.
