**★★★★★ — Craig Dierling, Jan. 2024**

> Nathan did a great job as the architect for our home kitchen remodel/addition project. He listened and understood our goals and specific preferences, communicated clearly and promptly, coordinated to help us decide on key features, and also coordinated to engage a structural engineer seamlessly within his design process. Nathan met with our building contractor during his design and confirmed his ideas for major structural changes were readily constructable. He prepared high quality plans quickly and guided them through county planning and building permit reviews, keeping us updated regularly on the status until permits were ready to issue. Nathan worked efficiently and at low cost, so the total of his fees were a very small percentage of our project cost.
>
> We were very happy with Nathan's services and would definitely hire him again.

**★★★★★ — Dr. Guillermo C. Garcia Ph.D., April 2023**

> Nathan Simson was the architect who worked on the plans for converting a storage/garage into Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU).
>
> He was professional and accessible. Nathan worked well with the Long Beach City (where I live) Development services to obtain approval for the plans in a reasonable time frame.
>
> He came highly recommended by close friends in his area who were his clients.
>
> I am incredibly thankful that he was with me every step of the way during the planning, construction, and inspection phases.
>
> Nathan visited the site in Long Beach and afterward presented me with various options, which we then discussed.
>
> His advice and referrals were beneficial. His fees were super-reasonable and kept me within budget.
>
> I highly recommend Nathan to anyone planning an ADU, a new home construction, or an addition to a building.

**★★★★★ — BJ Gray, April 2023**

> Nathan has a beautiful, relevant aesthetic to his work. He is not only an excellent architect who takes every detail into account but he is an easy person to communicate with, ideate with, and leaves his ego at the door. I loved working with him and brainstorming on materials, and options for design. I trusted him throughout the whole process and highly recommend working with him! You won't go wrong.

**★★★★★ — Bill K, April 2023**

> Nathan Simpson was the architect of record on a ground up, multi-million-dollar home in the town of Sonoma. Nathan is incredibly experienced and professional, but it was his design innovation and attention to lifestyle details that allowed me and my partners to deliver an exceptional residence of beauty and the highest quality that sold before even hitting the market!
>
> He is so amazing to work with that I’m now using him on the remodel of my personal residence.

**★★★★★ — mkalff, April 2023**

> We purchased and older home in Sonoma Valley a few years ago and immediately turned to Nathan for his creativity, thoughtful design, and collaborative work style. We had to quickly get the house in shape for move-in and Nathan LISTENED to what we wanted short term and what our potential vision was for the longer term. He then provided the design changes and permit/construction drawings we needed.
>
> Now, a few years later, we are ready to bring the long-term vision to life and Nathan is at the helm of that effort, guiding us through the design options with his amazing taste, talent, and experience.
>
> I recommend Nathan Simpson for any architectural needs, but specifically for residential.
