My primary use for the chaise will kicking back reading and watching movies, but I'd love to be able to open it (sideways) into a spare bed in a pinch. 1\. Has anyone seen a comfortable (real lounging) chaise that opens into a bed? 2\. If I am indeed looking for a unicorn, any advice on a comfy chaise that will work with the Ella chair? We haven't selected fabric for the Ella yet. Context: We live in a contemporary apartment with an open layout. It has clean lines, high ceilings, blond/grey floors, and the white kitchen has espresso cabinetry, and glass backsplashes. I need help figuring out what tondo w cabinets and wall color A: Yes, I agree with Lucidos, what's going on up there? A white or ivory painted finish would open up the whole space. Also, I would recommend using colored pendants to bring some color in with the lighting **Q: Need help with Dining Room Accents, Details, Center Pieces** *(in Design Dilemma)* We just finished setting buying furniture for the Dining Room. We painted the whole house for the exception of bedrooms, and bathrooms the same color. We're having a tough time trying to create accent walls in the Dining Room and finding Center pieces or even re-painting if needed. We have a large mirror in the Dining Room which we're also skeptical if it might be too large for the Dining Room or what position to hang it. Any help would be appreciated. :) A: I agree with Rita on the color choice, it looks so warm. The mirror may work hung horizontally but I would have 2 guys hold it up in the center of the the wall to see how that looks to you. Its your dining room so you need to feel comfortable in it. The wall with the window would look amazing with some beautiful drapery design that would have a great focal element of a special fabric, rod and finial design. I would also recommend using accent colors in your centerpiece with a large glass tray or bowl or some faux florals **Q: need help with furniture layout and what accent pieces will look best.** *(in Design Dilemma)* family room is located in main entrance. I would like to use it as a transitional room with a family room and home office. I'm open to also using the space as a family room / dining area. Room dimension is 16'X17" and I'm open to all suggestions. The media case and couch has to stay. A: I would recommend moving the sofa under the window, re-doing the window treatment with a great pole/finial combo and if possible getting a larger wall unit for the entertainment center. The wall to the right of the entry would be great with a long console table with a lamp and some art or a mirror above to pull it into the living space.
