**Q: My four year old son would love this light.** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: They're made by Elk Lighting. A google search should turn up a few sources.

**Q: Building a custom home.... Any "must" haves/cool ideas you have come across?  For example - Outlets on both sides of the front door, water faucets on the porch for plants, or make the flase panels on cabinates flip out for extra storeage?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

A: 1\. Get a Nest brand thermostat for whichever heating system you choose.

2\. Windows for light from 2 directions in every room where possible.

3\. Don't skimp on front door hardware. Pick a stylish handle set that really plays up the style of the house.

I need help with some curb appeal & need to paint ect.,  the stone has dark brown grout!  Any suggestions are welcomed!

A: It's not the type of landscaping as much as the location.  Locate the landscaping at the property lines and next to the curb cut, almost as if to make a fence around your yard.  This will claim your yard as your space, whereas right now it's a psychological no mans land.  It's so exposed you'll feel like you're on stage if you're using it... and obviously it's not a public park for others to use.  Remedy that inbetween state with plantings that 'capture the yard' and better define the empty field of green.
