> The first time we collaborated with Steven Miller was for a design he did at Dining-by-design in San Francisco. Seven had designed a beautiful contemporary table inspired by Le Roi Soleil Louis XIV. And behind the table, Lost Art had come up with a very sophisticated salon style grouping. Since then we have collaborated on several SF Decorator Showhouse projects and other projects for Steven's clients. We have always enjoyed the creativity of Steven Miller. Everything he touches, just like magic, turns into something fabulous!

**Q: Mixing metals in the kitchen** *(in Photo Questions)*

I have an open floor plan with chrome light fixtures. My kitchen has a brushed nickel faucet. I’m thinking of getting stainless steel appliances. Can I use chrome cabinet pulls?  Thank you!

A: Of course! We are big fans of mixing metals. especially polished white metals because they mirror everything and thus go with everything!

What is the wood species/ stain on the island cabinet?

A: The wood on the island cabinetry is an "engineered" oak veneer that has a look very similar to rift cut oak.
