A: More information is needed, for example what type of bed do you have as a platform bed with storage underneath it can look nice and be great storage. Also use decorative pieces that double as storage such as hat boxes that you can stack on top of one another. **Q: Choice of granit** *(in Design Dilemma)* I am in the process of choosing my counter tops. I really like black absolute premium. I heard there is dye in that granit to make it darker. Is the regular black absolute without dye? If not what is the best black granit to choose? A: Black Granite also shows every little water spot and speck of dirt. I have many friends who regret going with a very dark granite for this reason. I agree with Joseph we just purchased Granite and were told don't get it from India as their standards are not there. **Q: Kitchen table** *(in Design Dilemma)* Hi! First 3 pics are my kitchen. Last picture is the table we are planning on having delivered this week. It measures 69 by 42 inches and has a marble top. Do you like the table in the space? What type of chairs do you think would work? (I want to stay away from ultra modern chairs, and they need to be kid/family friendly with 3 little boys.). A: I have recently renovated a home in Maui and found that I really like not doing the 4 in granite backsplash but instead bring your backsplash to the top of the granite counter such as in this photo. **Q: Appliance Advice - Mixing Styles** *(in Design Dilemma)* I need advice. Attached are the appliances I am considering. (I may have to attach additional pics in another post), The refrigerator I am getting is the Kitchenaid one below. It has the professional handles. The oven I am getting is the GE Profile which has the curve handle. The dishwasher and microwave I am flexible with (although I really love the Kitchenaid I have now). My question is regarding the two handle styles. As the refrigerator is on a different wall, I am not as concerned. However, the other 3 appliances are near each other. What do you think would look better: 1). Kitchenaid refrigerator and DW (with industrial handles) and Profile range and Profile microwave OR 2\) Kitchenaid refrigerator, DW, Microwave (with industrial handles) and Profile range (should handle of range and microwave match OR 3\) Kitchenaid refrigerator, Bosch DW (wither either curved or recessed handle) and Profile range and Profile microwave I do not want a GE dishwasher or a Kitchenaid stove. I am also concerned about mixing too many different brands in case the stainless shades are different. What do you think would work best?
