I have worked on many projects with Woodhaven Kitchens over the past 7 years and they have all turned out excellent. From design to manufacture to install their attention to detail and quality is top notch. Woodhaven is my first and only call for cabinets on all of my projects. ### All 13 reviews **★★★ — JamieC, Feb. 2026** > We had John and his team supply and install a new kitchen for us. They used Montalco company for the cabinets. The work was completed on time and looked great once installed. That was four years ago. Last year we noticed that the island cabinet started to flake and crack at the bottom, before the kick plate.We kept forgetting to contact John but once we did we were told that yes that cabinet had to be replaced but at our cost. They only warranty their products for three years. Then to add insult they tried to say that it flaked because of water damage, not because of cheap cabinetry from the supplier. The island is not near water, it is sitting on hardwood floors that have been there since installation. We had a previous island at the same spot for twenty years, and the previous cabinets never cracked or flaked, it was just time for a change. So I would not recommend this company as they do not stand behind the faulty products that they install. We are a retired couple living alone so there is not a lot of wear and tear in our kitchen. **Comment from Woodhaven Kitchens Ltd.:** > Hi Jamie & Carol > During our phone conversation I explained how myself and Montalco said it appeared to be water damage, the standard industry warranty had expired, regardless I offered to split the cost of a replacement cabinet in good faith, $ 250 each. I also asked if it was occurring anywhere else, the response was no. I was then informed that a negative review would be posted and the conversation ended abruptly without any further discussion. Based on the facts and the attached picture I believe it was a fair response which may have been further addressed if the client was more responsive. > I am known for standing behind our product and always doing things the correct way, even at Woodhaven's expense. All I can say is that my wife and I were blown away with how accommodating John is. After briefly sitting down with Cynthia (my wife) and I, he asked a bunch of questions about what we were looking for and just listened. He asked for our budget and then not only did he make sure what we wanted fell into our budget he advised us on small simple things that could be better use to us (things we hadn't thought of) and that would end up being more cost efficient. The other thing I really liked about John was that he told us what he was going to do and then backed it up with action, he held our hand during the process and didn't accept final payment until we were 100% happy with the work done.
