## Community Q&A

**Q: 1% sun sun screen shade Or?** *(in Home Decorating)*

We are installing shades in our newly Renovated condo and looking at the 1% sunscreen or the Trento (?). Has anyone installed either and how much privacy do you get at night? We are on ground floor inter coastal and want to preserve some light but don’t want night boaters seeing everything in. 
Our bedroom window is 108 and sliding 118 which is providing limited options based on width. Love the Trento but it comes in 108 so I would so one bedroom one sliding (not sure if thats weird)
Any input is appreciated as I’d prefer not to fully blackout the condo 
Trento is to left and sunscreen 1 right. Our glass does have a tint which does help.

A: Our Habitat Screens carry fabric densities of 5%, 10%, and 45%. It might be prudent to consider getting a thicker screen for more privacy and sun protection.

**Q: Retractable bug screens** *(in Home Decorating)*

I like the concept of retractable bug screen sold in home depot. Can anyone share their practical experience with it? Is it easy to replace the mesh or replace it with a thicker mesh so that it can double as a sunblock? It also does not fit one of my larger windows. Has anyone tried to build a larger version of it? Any DIYs would also help to reduce cost. Has anyone built hideaways at the top of the window for these? Pictuerw would greatly help.

A: I have to agree with Hallett & Co. We are a direct competitor of Phantom Screens, but our retractable screens are stored horizontally with a panel box to hide the screen when not in use.

A: Hi, first let me apologize for the late response. We were responsible for the installation of our rollshutters and not for the construction of the Cabana Bar.

**Q: What are the shutters on french doors made by Talius made of please?** *(in Photo Questions)*

We live on the ocean and need very strong doors to support future hurricanes! etc.  Pls give strength specs. re wind and waves.
