We were treated professionally - we were given a great deal of help in choosing tile and allowed to bring home samples to matching existing tile. We received two other quotes from competitors - We felt most confident with Complete's quote as they were the only one to measure accurately and provide a complete quote that didn't suggest "surprises." The installers were professional, polite, and worked extremely hard for four straight days. They confirmed with us as to direction, tile, grout color before beginning installation. They were exceptional, offering great design ideas and doing the job efficiently and well. Complete Flooring, however, is terrible. First, it took almost two weeks to change a very simple thing in the contract and that was with me calling almost every day for a revised contract. Meanwhile our install time was slipping. Second, they made a big deal out of how the hardwood would transition to our tile which turned out to be no problem at all. But, because of that, we were stuck with the recommended molding which they had told us would match our hardwood and come from the same company. Instead they bought through a secondary company which in no way matched the color or grain or our hardwood. They refused to give us a refund for this erroneous and completely unused molding. We had to buy base molding at Home Depot and stain it ourselves. Third, they significantly overestimated the amount of flooring needed and then refused to take back the excess. We understand that 12% extra may be necessary but NOT 15%. We were left with two full boxes PLUS extra pieces. In addition, their attitude throughout was patronizing and unprofessional. **★ — Jody Lund, May 2020** > Paid $5946 down payment on January 13th...still waiting for them to finish so we can move into the upstairs of our house. Service not at all as promised. Main installer was great but 2 apprentices left us with incredibly shoddy substandard job. Chip in new flooring, splintered baseboards. No one showed up to fix it at first scheduled appointment. Then the Owner declared workmanship as "industry standard" but offered to fix at my expense. Then offered to fix at their expense. I cancelled once in April due to remote RN job in New York. Rescheduled for May 13th. And now they are trying to push it out to the end of May.
