Fortunately, Stove and Spa is located within ten miles of my house so it was a no brainer to go there. The only other decision I need to make was which model to choose. The desicion was fairly easy because there were two hot tubs with water in them at the store and I asked for and was given a "wet test" in both. I decided to go for the Flair unit because it has two powerful pumps and is the right size for my patio. Lora and Wes could not make the process any easier, coming out to inspect my location and recommending contractors for the install. Now I'm back enjoying my Hot Spring again, especially on those chilly nights we've been having. Lora showed us many models, and the Kozy Heat had the perfect combination of style and heating ability. The pricing was competitive with anything else in the county, and they provided installation. We were so excited to set the appointment, even though summer was coming...LOL! The install took less time than expected, only about 3 hrs. from start to finish. We made sure the electrical was in place, and we already had the gas pipe there. It was gorgeous and we couldn't wait for a chilly morning ( it was March, so we did get a few!). Now it is late October, and the first rainy day, so I have had the 'fireplace' on most of the morning. It's cozy, beautiful and WARM! There are many settings, 6 heat, 5 fan, and a constant temp if I want it, but I've been keeping it on \#2 or \#3. I'm sure when it gets colder, we will up it a little. When we reverse the ceiling fan, it will send heat all the way down the hallway also! The fan is virtually quiet, I have to literally hold my breath to hear it. We couldn't be happier with this, and it will pay for itself the first two years. We're not exactly sure what the difference a cold month will be, but in March, our PG&E bill went down $100, and our gas bill was up $7.
