His work is beyond reproach, and he is exceptionally thorough, fair, and straight-forward about all the pros and cons of various materials and processes. He's also very fun and easy-going, i have a small open-plan house and he has spent over two weeks here on two American clay projects. I was pretty apprehensive about the invasion but we had a really good groove here and my pets liked him and his helper Travis as much as i did. The pale sage Loma in the sunroom and white Forte with mica in the main room both turned out absolutely stellar (and they smell great too.) I had originally planned to take a class with John but am sooooo glad i decided to bite the bullet and let him work his magic rather than me fuddling through with a lovely but high-end, quirky and temperamental product that i have no experience with at all.
