All was going well until we requested warranty work. It took several months and much follow up to get the work completed and the repair work was not of great quality. > > The biggest issue however, was when we had a major appliance break down shortly after the one-year warranty expiration. When we contacted the manufacturer, assuming it would be under warranty since the home was just over a year old, we found out that Tipler had installed an appliance that was 6 years old. Yes, a 6 year-old appliance in a brand new home. Hoping that Tipler would have enough integrity, and frankly be embarrassed by being caught, we requested their help in getting the item fixed. Instead, however, after much follow up, Tipler did not stand by their work product and instead sent us a bill for the cost and asking us to pay for it before they would send someone to fix it. > > There are many home builders out there. I would recommend finding one that will stand by their product.
