From the beginning, communication was constant and tasks were completed on time. Any questions that I had were quickly answered and both Craig and Eric were always available by phone or email. Eric did an outstanding job with the tile work and the I couldn't be more pleased with how the project turned out. Available via e-mail or cell as needed, and also they set a schedule using web-based project management tool that automatically alerted you to updates on the project. They would also call to update in addition to relying on the project management portal. Weather prohibited project completion, but they worked late into the season to get main part of it done and will finish the work in the spring (ground work and cement below the deck, and painting). We have been very pleased with the outcome of all of these projects. Craig has been extremely reliable and transparent in discussing our projects, providing us with detailed and accurate accounts of costs and project time frames. He carefully listens to our project needs, suggesting changes when indicated aesthetically or due to structural needs but always respected our decisions. Craig and his employees are very skilled craftsmen. The quality of their work is flawless in everything from the exterior siding work to the tile that was installed in the shower and floor in the master bathroom. Craig and his employees' work has always been performed cheerfully and at the end of the day the work sites are clean and all work materials put away. His team designed a solution to reclaim the integrity of a structure that was peripheral to my main house (Two decks, a sunroom, and a screened-in porch). The structure was settling down the edge of a steep ravine slope. I solicited the help of many commercial and residential companies before I met Craig. None of them could solve the problem effectively. They were either prohibitively expensive or were intimidated by the difficulty of the job. Craig embraced the challenge from the outset. While not cheap, his pricing was fair, and he was always communicative and transparent. In the end all of those were true. Part of our project was covered by insurance due to wind and hail damage and Craig took it upon himself to handle working with our insurance company to ensure we got what we were entitled to and that we didn't have to play middleman. > Our project consisted of an addition of a garage, two dormers, and a portico over front steps along with replacing some siding, painting entire house and staining porch, decking and driveway replacement. The Legacy crew are very professional, communicative and their workmanship is high quality. Any subs that Craig used were scheduled to meet with us and Craig prior to work being done so we always knew who was going to be doing the work and when they would be here. Additionally, Craig has an architect who provides great detail prior to entering into contract. > Legacy uses a cloud-based project package so the customer is fully aware of timeline throughout the project which helps to alleviate any communication issues. Delays in project were mostly related to weather. Discrepancies in estimate and total due for project was only because of changes we made along the way. > Overall the project was a great experience. Any issues we had were with sub-contractors which Craig would quickly jump in to make things right. While we were pretty confident in our vision for our kitchen remodel - but, we had two main reservations about the project: 1) Finding a competent company to work with that will actually do the work promised within the time frame promised. 2) Getting the kitchen we want within the budget we were working with. > > We previously had a number of frustrating experiences with contractors involving deadlines and staying within a specified time frame. Craig explained how his project management system ensured the client was able to access the project calendar and all other pertinent information. He also explained how he provides very detailed project estimates - which allows the client to understand all the costs involved and if needed, manipulate the project to stay within budget. > > These factors, paired with the knowledge that the talented Legacy crew would complete the majority of the work themselves, were why we hired them. > > My hopes were high, but based on my past experiences, I was still skeptical that Craig would end up being “just another contractor” and leave us guessing on the schedule and remodeling process.
