**★★★★ — Fredric, July 2022**

> I’ll preface this review by stating that this was a difficult project complicated by many setbacks. In the end alpen went out of their way and shipped replacement glass 7 times. Doug (Sensitive Information Hidden) and Tyler went out of their way to make things right. Alpen sent 3 installers all the way to Missouri to replace the faulty glass. Greg and his team even fixed all the door latches without being asked

**★ — Derek Wang, Jan. 2022**

> I bought windows and patio doors from Alpen. I even wIent to the factory and met Craig who's the CEO. Unfortunately, the windows and doors I got are leaking water from the frame. They're poorly made & they haven't gotten back to me on how to fix them. I'm very disappointed & don't recommend buying from them.

**★★★★★ — User, Oct. 2017**

> We have had the good fortune to work on a few installations with Alpen HPP fiberglass windows, installed with ThermalBuck, our insulating window buck. These are the most highly-engineered windows we've ever worked with. Each individual window is designed to maximize it's performance based on the climate and sun-exposure of it's exact placement on the home. The color offerings are beautiful, and make a major impact on the overall design of the home. Their team is completely committed to support the customer throughout the entire process, and throughout the lifetime warranty. We would recommend Alpen windows to anyone looking for the highest performance windows on the market - truly worth the investment.

**★★★★★ — Jeff Alipit, March 2017**

> When I first purchased my Alpen windows, I have to admit there was a part of me that wasn’t completely sold on the idea that the windows would make my home that much more comfortable. Boy was I wrong. Since we installed our windows, we’ve seen a dramatic shift in the overall comfort level of home due to more consistent interior temperatures across all seasons, and we’ve seen the savings on our monthly utility bill as well. As for the sales process, the team at Alpen was incredibly knowledgeable, and patiently walked us through the technical aspects of high performance windows. They helped us immensely by explaining in layman’s terms what makes the windows perform as well as they do, and there was never any feeling of pressure to buy like some other window companies put on you. I highly recommend Alpen to those buyers who are interested in a more comfortable home, their product truly performs as advertised, and their people are very pleasant to work with.

**★★★★★ — 406 Window Co., Dec. 2016**

> Alpen produces the highest quality and the best performing Fiberglass windows. My clients are always pleased to know that their windows are the most energy efficient in the industry. Considering the features and benefits of their lines, they are an affordable premium product!

**★★★★★ — gnu2marketing, Sept. 2016**

> In a world full of companies claiming to be good for the environment, Alpen HPP is the real deal!
>
> I've worked with the entire team (from management, to sales, to manufacturing) and have seen how much everyone there genuinely cares about both the quality of their products and just how much they positively impact the built environment.
>
> As a member of the board of directors for the Colorado Green Building Guild, I've also gotten to see Alpen's very real support of the green building industry as a whole. The longstanding support of the company's sponsorship and its employees has been (and continues to be) an indispensable component of The Guild's mission to promote sustainability and energy efficiency throughout the state.
>
> Kudos to Alpen for their commitment to making our homes and offices greener, more comfortable and more environmentally responsible places.

**★★★★★ — toolstudios, June 2016**

> We just had Alpen Windows installed in our entire home. They are incredible. I cannot believe how quiet it is now....our entire family has commented on the amount of outside noise that we used to hear...it is now completely gone. We are just beginning the summer season and have also felt the difference in how cool the house seems to stay even in the heat of the day. We are looking forward to seeing how the new windows affect our electricity bill. They are gorgeous windows. We chose to do black on the outside and white on the inside and we are completely in love. We will tell EVERYONE that we know to make sure that they use Alpen windows as they are FAR superior to anything else!

**★★★★★ — AE Building Systems, May 2016**

> Alpen provides outstanding performance / value. Alpen's windows make a significant difference to the building envelope - and comfort for the occupants. While you can save energy (operating costs) by using Alpen's windows and doors, the comfort afforded is the reason to purchase them. Note also the sound ratings are also exceptional. If you live in a noisy area (traffic, airport, train tracks, etc), Alpen windows will significantly reduce the noise levels inside the building. And finally, the fiberglass frames are exceptional for longevity/durability and low maintenance.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Bronze vs. white exterior windows** *(in Windows)*

What are thoughts about bronze vs. white windows? Too trendy? Ok? Any favorite color combinations that bronze windows pair with (other than white exterior)?

I'm finding that new window prices are the same for bronze and white exterior frames, so considering it for a window replacement/house remodel. This will be my home for the next 20+ years so don't want something that will look dated. My house is a small 1950s 1 story with German siding and block foundation. Thanks!

A: @Jenny, black/bronze.. I LOVE the contrasted look - Brian

**Q: Windows, Windows and Windows !!!!** *(in Windows)*

We are looking to replace all our windows at home and confused at different options and the contractor recommendations. Would love to hear if anyone has comments about the following

1\. Metal Industries MI 1650 series
2\. Sunrise
3\. Okna
4\. Anderson 400 series.

Thanks.

A: You've got the timeline correct Mr. Fridge, the company was owned by Serious Materials for a short time before Mr. Begin purchased the assets when Serious was going out of business, and then restored the company name back to it's longstanding name. The Alpen name was founded in 1981 by Robert Clarke, who helped pioneer the use suspended film in commercial window and glass applications, and still consults with Alpen to this day at 80 years young! As the oldest longest standing fabricator of suspended film technology, we are proud of our heritage but have also continued to innovate as evidenced by our commercial growth in ThinTriple and ThinQuad glass manufacturing, which has gained a huge share of our production.

Sorry about the "like" on our own post, clearly a mistake. You have an awesome day, hopefully you get some good cheerful sunshine over the weekend! Happy to speak further offline, just email info@thinkalpen.com, many thanks.
