> Andrew Goodwin is an exceptional architect.  He is well trained, widely educated, and very perceptive of client tastes and visions.  This was our first experience building a custom home and the learning curve was steep for us.  Andrew made the process clearer as he was there to guide, explain, and interface with everyone who had a hand in the building.  Andrew possesses detailed knowledge off all facets of a design-build and this skill set came in very handy when contractor and construction questions arose.  Personally Andrew is very easy to work with and he has the rare talent of listening carefully to questions and concerns and addressing them in a timely and appropriate manner.  We would recommend him most highly for any design/build project you might have.

> Andrew delivered exactly what we planned and hoped for. He listened well, added flair and creative solutions where they were needed, and turned our vision for a contemporary Bauhaus take on a mid-century modern classic into reality. His understanding of, and relationship with, local government agencies and builders/contractors was very valuable as well. He 'saw' the vision and used his craft and creativity to make sure the practical issues were covered, while adding creativity where appropriate. From siting the home to optimise local conditions, to thinking outside the box to make sure the existing guest house that we remodelled had integrity with the new build; Andrew delivered. Most importantly, Andrew is a good human without the ego and price tag that often accompanies many metro architects with bigger reputations. If we build another home, or remodel, Andrew will be the first person we call to help with the project.
