> You should not work with this company.

> Our pool was completed in October 2022. Even before the pebble was done I had mentioned some concerning cracks I saw in the shell. Bill discounted them as “surface cracks”. By July the following year (8 months later) the pool had cracked in that same area and has continued to crack ever since, even with multiple attempted fixes (I’ll give Bill credit on at least trying to fix it).

> The first “fix” not only didn’t work, but left the shell looking horrible due to the patches where the supposed repairs were done. Those patches cover roughly half of the pool. Bill kept saying “it’ll blend in”. It hasn’t. The subsequent “fixes” just made a new set of patches but the same crack continues to open up in the same area.
>
> Further, Bill is extremely difficult to work with. He interrupts you when speaking, he changes the design without telling you (e.g. he was going to have the skimmer extend into the walkway when that wasn’t in the plans), and his communication is delayed or nonexistent. I’ve had to follow up multiple times just to get a response after weeks or months at times.
>
> He has now sent us a letter from his lawyer saying he will not fix the pool or reimburse any costs for removal of the defective pool.
>
> Don’t risk falling into the same situation we are now in after hiring this company to build our pool. Go somewhere else and save yourself the headache and costs.

As a first time pool owner, I had no idea what was possible (and not possible) within our budget. Bill provided helpful and realistic recommendations to optimize our pool, including improving circulation, drainage, and lighting, in addition to the resurfacing. During the project, Bill was very communicative, and easy to work with. His team worked well with the other contractors on the job. He delivered on time and on budget. > My project started with the need for a water change in my 30 year old pool, and when drained the realization that the original white smooth plaster had developed a couple of cracks, several chips, and significant stains throughout, not to mention that many of the tiles were cracked or starting to peel away from the walls.  I called Sun Country Pools to provide some advice.  They came over the same day, analyzed the situation, provided several alternatives, and provided estimates for each so I could make a well informed decision.

The magicians at Sun Country took an aging eyesore and transformed it into a gorgeous new pool with all new tile, pebble finish plaster, new lights, several leaks in the plumbing repaired, and rebuilt steps in both the pool and the spa.  Not only was every aspect of their work extremely professional, they delivered the finished project in only FIVE days from start to completion and came in under the original budget.  It doesn’t get any better than that!  I could not be more pleased with their work and highly recommend Sun Country Pools to anyone considering a new pool or the refurbishing of an existing one.
