**★★★★★ — p84mustang, Jan. 2023**

> We recently completed our second kitchen + bath remodel with Rebecca!! So happy with our first project and now so happy with our second home as well! We especially love how Rebecca will sit down and get to know our preferences by listening to our sometimes conflicting desires. She always starts with listening and questions, never a solution. Then she will come back with several options and we are able to actually "see" the vision. We highly recommend (10 out of 5 Stars) her as a collaborator in your next remodel or new build. Her attention to detail and experience always ends up saving us headache and ultimately money, while we get the vision we always wanted. Thank you Rebecca for all of your wonderful creativity and kindness during the process. Looking forward to the next time we can work together!!

> Rebecca represents everything one would expect from a next generation interior design professional. She maintains that sense of color, theme, mood, balance of elements and all the things that a solid interior designer would have. What makes her truly and above and beyond is her strong sense of work ethic, her service orientation and her digital first mindset. In fact, I would say it was her digital based service that first attracted me. I was struck the ease with which I could connect with her and I was truly blown away by how she was able to put together a complete concept of my porch without having stepped on it. She totally nailed it. I would recommend Rebecca wholeheartedly. I plan to work with her on other projects and refer her to friends and family.

**★★★★★ — Susan Dean, Oct. 2020**

> Rebecca is great! We have used her for several renovation projects...a kitchen, two large bathrooms, and a laundry room. We have used her design skills both in person and remotely. She has wonderful ideas and we are so happy with our finished renovations! She is honest, resourceful, creative and wonderful to work with. Highly recommended!

> Rebecca is not only an incredibly talented designer but is an absolute delight to work with. We just bought our first home and Rebecca helped us maximize our square footage and make the best functional use of our space. She worked with our budget and asked great questions to help us uncover what we really wanted and needed from our space. She built us an incredibly accurate 3-D model that was critical for my lack of imagination. If you're looking for a designer, look no further - I cannot recommend Rebecca enough!

**Comment from Rebecca Quandt Interiors:**

> Thank you so much, Anna! It was a joy to work with you and your husband on your first home. I can't wait to see how everything turns out!

**★★★★★ — Judith Warner, Sept. 2019**

> We hired Rebecca to help us get a clearer vision on a kitchen remodel project. She expertly assisted us with a creative, yet practical design that would maintain our wish list of desired features within challenging pre-existing restraints.

**★★★★★ — Susan Dean, Sept. 2019**

> Wonderful designer! Rebecca is so easy to work with, has lots of great ideas, and worked within budget. We had a massive pipe burst/leak in our laundry room which resulted in us needing to replace and reconfigure the laundry room cabinets, sink, washer/dryer, etc. She came up with ideas that were so helpful!

**★★★★★ — Joseph Corris, Sept. 2019**

> I recently moved to Virginia and did not have much time to deal with my move because of work. Rebecca was excellent in handling all aspects of remodeling/decorating in a professional and efficient manner. I highly recommend her to anyone.

**Comment from Rebecca Quandt Interiors:**

> It was a pleasure working with you. I hope you're enjoying the DMV area and your newly furnished condo!

**★★★★★ — Jimmy Mandich, April 2019**

> Rebecca helped my wife and I plan a full bathroom renovation in our NW DC home, and we could not be any happier with the results! She did an amazing job understanding our individual tastes and answering our questions, allowing us to narrow down our focus and finally make some real decisions. Rebecca was extremely thorough in documenting her plan and was more than willing to provide follow up support as needed when questions from our contractor arose. The end result was a beautiful finished product thanks to her professional guidance!

**★★★★★ — Diane O., Nov. 2018**

> I found a post she commented on, it was exactly what I was thinking. I sent her an email to see if she would expand on her comments more with me and within the hour I had a detailed email from her giving me more than I had hoped for! She was to the point, professional and was happy to help! How refreshing!

**Comment from Rebecca Quandt Interiors:**

> So glad I could be of assistance to you! I hope your project turns out beautifully!

**★★★★★ — Stephanie Wagner, Sept. 2018**

> Wow, Rebecca has an amazing eye for design and is so helpful!!! She provided me suggestions and ideas and helped me see the potential that was in my kitchen as well as ways to showcase the beauty that was already there by adding certain design touches that wouldn't break the bank. She is very personable, friendly and professional and I would definitely recommend to hire her for any home design needs. Thank you Rebecca!!!

**Comment from Rebecca Quandt Interiors:**

**★★★★★ — Richard LeBeau, Sept. 2018**

> In December 2016, my husband and I moved into a new townhouse in Santa Monica. We had moved in from a rented apartment we had as grad students and wanted a complete overhaul. Unfortunately we were new to home ownership and neither of us have a keen eye for decorating. At the recommendation of a friend we went on Houzz and looked for decorators in the area. We reached out to several decorators whose styles and approach to the work felt like a good fit. Rebecca responded to us promptly and said that although she was finishing up another project and could not start right away she would come meet with us and discuss our project. Our first meeting was terrific. We liked her ideas, her personality, and her business model. We were extremely impressed with the 3-D renderings she prepared for us over the next few weeks, as well as her thoughtful discussion of the pros and cons of each. Due to the number of areas we wanted to refurbish and our busy work schedules, we could not get the project done all at once. Rebecca helped us prioritize and was patient with us as we systematically worked through the house. She was extremely communicative throughout the whole process, always willing to answer phone calls or text messages, come over to the house, and do extra research. She was able to obtain several great deals by shopping around and using her designer discount. On a personal level, Rebecca is fun, personable, and very pleasant to be around. We found her to be very organized, as well as honest - we never once felt like we were being taken advantage of. She also did most of the interfacing with the stores, furniture makers, repair people, and delivery people throughout the process, which was greatly appreciated. As we were nearing the end of the project, Rebecca found out that she would have to be moving across country. Rather than abandon the project or turn it over to someone new, she kicked things into high gear and helped us finish the project on an accelerated time table. She even had time before she left to stage things and take some wonderful photos for her portfolio that she shared with us. We cannot recommend Rebecca and her work more strongly.

**Comment from Rebecca Quandt Interiors:**

> Thank you so much for your kind words! I enjoyed working with you and John and I'm thrilled that you are happy with the results! I was sad to leave LA so quickly but am glad we were able to finish up the main areas and I'm able to help you with the last touches from afar! Let me know the next time you're in the DC area!

**★★★★★ — Devan Douglass, Aug. 2018**

> Rebecca was such an incredible designer to work with. She is extremely organized, easy to communicate with, hands on, creative and personable. Rebecca desgined our tiny kitchen to be open concept, which was one of our main request. She also included other design features that were executed perfectly. Rebecca added her own personal touch, along with my own style and my husbands suggestions. Our kitchen is now the focal point of our home, all thanks to Rebecca.

**Comment from Rebecca Quandt Interiors:**

> Thank you so much, Devan! It was wonderful working with you and your husband. Thanks for letting me be hands-on with your project :) I hope you enjoy your new kitchen for years to come!

## Community Q&A

**Q: where is this couch available?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I love this couch .and the whole design of this house. beautiful!

A: Thank you so much! This couch was from HD Buttercup at the Culver City location in Los Angeles. I'm not sure if they carry it anymore since this was 2 years ago, but the SKU at the time was 150100732. I hope this helps!

**Q: Faucet** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is the name of the faucet. It's exactly what I am looking for. Thanks

A: It’s Kohler Artifacts K-99262!

**Q: Not sure what color flooring to choose...** *(in Home Decorating)*

Hi All,
I am at the final stage of my remodel and try to pick either a neutral wood color, or one that has grey tones in it. I would like it to flow with the bathroom, ebony wall, and stone wall. Im stuck... Thoughts?

Thoughts??

A: You picked three beautiful options, but I think you will be safer going with the more natural tones. While the gray is pretty, I'm afraid that gray wood floors will be one of those things that goes out of style and will date your house more quickly than the natural wood tone, which is more timeless.

I like the one on the right best, because it's a very cool-toned neutral (not as warm as the one on the top).

**Q: Which white paint for cabinets? Help!** *(in Paint)*

Having a hard time deciding between SW Pure White and SW Extra White for our Kitchen cabinets. Countertops are Calacatta Gold Quartz and leaning toward SW Dorian Gray for island color. Wall color in surrounding LR/Dining room will be SW Repose Gray. Help! (Counter will not be waterfall like in pic - just showing countertop material!)

A: 100% would recommend SW 7005 Pure White.

I think that the Extra white is too blue for the colors you are pairing it with.

**Q: Help with exterior window renovation.** *(in Windows)*

I am struggling with the choice of window and trim colour for my home. I have a lot of windows so don't want to make a mistake. I am also changing soffits and eaves etc.
I want to change the look of the house making it more MODERN FARMHOUSE style. I want to get rid of gingerbread trim and "beef up the front porch"
I am committing already to definitely changing the shape of the 2 very large palladium (half moon windows) in the front of the house. I am going to square them off and reduce the size slightly making the half moon shape more of a transom style.
I recently added a few structures in the backyard that I love and they are a dulled down black and trim etc is the same colour as the siding of the main house. Want to tie it all in together somehow.
I included pictures of front, back and side of house. The side is our main driveway so it gets a lot of attention.
I can stick with white windows and trim but seriously contemplating dark windows. Yes or No? If so what colour would trim . SDL'S there are so many styles to chose from?
I belive a will have to re-side the peaks of the house where I am changing the window shape and was thinking HARDY BOARD shingle style and paint same colour of siding?
Please offer advice or suggestions. Would love to hear them.

MORE BACK OF HOUSE PICS

A: If you have to replace the windows anyways, I prefer the black!

**Q: Outdoor lighting plan help?!** *(in Lighting)*

Hello. Building this house and I’ve planned for three pot lights on the front porch but any suggestions for exterior lighting are welcome!
My current house has pot light under the upper eaves but the roof here is a different style - flat.
Landscape lights? Or just keep it at pot lights? Huh

A: Here are a few options:
