I have worked as an Indianapolis interior designer for 25 years. I have also had the opportunity to serve long-time clients who have purchased new properties in other states. The combination of creativity, team collaboration and personal interaction with my clients is what I most enjoy about what I do. When I take on projects, I want to form lasting relationships with my clients so that they can rely on me years later when their tastes change or they move to a new home. I have designed multiple homes for many clients with whom I have been fortunate to maintain long-term relationships and to assist them with new projects. Currently, I live in Zionsville, Indiana, with my husband and 15-year-old son

> I have been so happy to have been working with Stephanie over the past year! What began as a very simple project has grown into a magnificent home makeover and special friendship! Stephanie has incredible ideas and awesome eye for flow, color and the ultimate feel of the end product! She is efficient and careful with details and budget!

**★★★★★ — HU-487893000, Jan. 2019**

> Stephanie is an awesome designer with a keen eye for color, textures, and space. She listens well and offers suggestions without imposing her opinions.
>
> Stephanie is well organized, responsive and follows through in a timely manner. It is a delight to work with her.

**★★★★★ — Katie Beik, Dec. 2018**

> Stephanie is amazing! We had a house fire during the summer of 2017. Since then, Stephanie has been helping with almost everything involving the interior repair. She picked the flooring, cabinets, granite, paint, lighting and hardware. She helped us design the bathrooms in a more contemporary way. After the rebuild was complete, she helped with the furniture, the window treatments, the artwork, the bedding....everything. She has phenomenal taste. I love that she is flexible too. She decorated my parents house several years ago and their decor is far different from mine. Both look great! I would recommend Stephanie to anyone.

> We have worked with Stephanie for several years now and have always been very happy with the level of service, responsiveness, punctuality, and quality of her work. Stephanie has helped us with simple paint color selections to comprehensive kitchen and bathroom remodels. In every instance, she always delivers a great product, within budget, specific to our unique family/needs, on time. Highly recommend.

**★★★★★ — Debbie Mattison, Dec. 2018**

> She is exceptionally good with color and textures. She returns calls and messages in a timely manner and meets deadlines.

**★★★★★ — HouseWurks, Oct. 2018**

> I have worked with Stephanie on a couple new home construction projects as I was the general contractor and she was the interior designer. Stephanie was awesome to work with. She had great vision and I look forward to working with her in the future.

**★★★★★ — Andy Eibling, Sept. 2018**

> We looked hard to find an interior designer to help with our master bedroom redesign. We fortunately were referred to Stephanie, and have been very pleased. Stephanie provides great advice, quickly learns and adapts to your personal style and preferences, and is very flexible and easy to work with. The contracters and suppliers she utilized throughout our project were all great. We will most definitely call on Stephanie again for future projects!

> We have worked with Stephanie for several years on various projects. We just finished a complete remodel of our main level. She transformed our kitchen with ideas that we would have never thought of. Her design ideas from construction to color to decor on the entire level are perfect. Her eye for color/texture/decor is quick and have always created the look we wanted. She is always super nice and has been an invaluable partner to lean on during these projects.

**★★★★★ — Jackie Walsh, Sept. 2017**

> I've been working with Stephanie now for 10 years. We started our first project during our move from Baltimore to Indianapolis. She helped grow the vision of the home we were building and kept our selections both focused on our direction and in budget. Upon completion of the house, Stephanie transformed our new address into a home. Her work with fabrics and color is truly gifted. She magically accommodated our home with custom draperies, furnishings and blinds. Over the years we have changed the purpose of certain spaces and I again, called upon her services to tie everything together with custom carpets, chairs, even bedskirts. Now we are building a vacation home in Utah. Stephanie Weitkamp is a trusted source for me, both for inspiration and collaboration. Building at a distance takes many levels of discipline and communication. Together we brainstorm and bounce ideas off each other all the while she keeps the vision cohesive. She has even traveled with me to Utah to work on the project. I highly recommend her for small projects or complete renovation or building from scratch. I hope you choose to create your spaces with Stephanie Weitkamp interiors.

**★★★★★ — Wayne & Karen Turner, June 2017**

> We have worked with Stephanie on multiple projects at our home in Indianapolis and at Lake Wawasee in northern Indiana. The most recent was a complete kitchen renovation and interior design upgrade at the lake house. Stephanie was critical to every step. She brought the project in on time and on budget, while contributing her boundless creativity, energy and project management skills. A+ work from an A+ professional.

**★★★★★ — Joanne Lenke, Nov. 2016**

> We’ve enjoyed working with Stephanie for close to 15 years. Friends of ours had a warm, inviting home and we learned of Stephanie’s talent through them. We’ve lived in our current home for 22 years and she has helped us redecorate and refresh. Stephanie has patiently guided our choices, worked with our possessions and mediated desires and taste differences between my husband and me.
>
> We are currently building a new home in New England and Stephanie is the designer on this project. We recently traveled with her to the building site and she was an extraordinary asset! In addition to us, the builder and construction foreman were impressed by her knowledge, reasoning, vision and personality. We all appreciated her enthusiasm for the project.
>
> Stephanie has a broad knowledge and experience with styles, resources and methods. We’re glad to have her involved in this overwhelming process.

**★★★★★ — karenhupe, Oct. 2016**

> Stephanie was truly our design sherpa. She took the general vision for our kitchen remodel and transformed it into a cohesive space that complements the rest of our home. Stephanie offered recommendations that we never would have thought of or discovered on our own.
>
> One of the best things about Stephanie? She could take two decidedly different material/color selections and help my husband and I meet in a way that didn't feel like a compromise for either of us. And now, we are loving the choices she helped us make.

- [Mixing Modern and Traditional Design](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/mixing-modern-and-traditional-design-pj-vj~7203037)
  - Location: Pittsboro, IN
  - Photos: 27
  - Description: My clients lived on a horse farm, and enjoy bringing that vibe into their home. But, one likes traditional design, while the other prefers a more modern look. Combining the two was the goal for their new home. A color palette of rich browns and warm grays helps bridge the gap between these two aesthetics. We also used a mix of wood, stone, metal and glass to provide a nod to nature.
- [Updating a 70s Home](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/updating-a-70s-home-pj-vj~7033440)
  - Location: Not specified
  - Photos: 18
  - Description: We completely remodeled a two-bedroom downsize home for our client, opening up the space as much as we could to add a spacious feel. The neutral palette balances warm and cool hues. We removed the 1970s and added a relaxing, transitional look to the space. Our client fell in love with roman shades, so we were able to add many unique elements through fabrics. Custom art completes the design.
- [Art-Filled Modern Design Remodel](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/art-filled-modern-design-remodel-pj-vj~7033417)
  - Location: Not specified
  - Photos: 11
  - Description: We remodeled this 1980s home into a modern yet soothing look. Rich wood floors set a base for the neutral color palette that highlights the clients' art collection. Highly patterned floor coverings, drapery and wallpaper also add a bit of drama to the clean slate.
- [California Modern Home Design](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/california-modern-home-design-pj-vj~6659699)
  - Location: Not specified
  - Photos: 15
  - Description: A contrast of light and dark was the theme for this modern home remodel outside of San Francisco. A brown wood floor set the tone for the whole first floor. We added dark and light or painted wood elements to bring a modern feel with a hint of warmth as well. Highlighting the view and my clients' extensive art collection were goals as well.

  - Description: One of the things I love the most about my job is working with my clients on different projects as they move through the different stages of their lives. I enjoy getting to know them and forming long-lasting relationships. Such is the case with the owners of this beautiful new home. I had worked with them for years on their house, and when they decided to head east to be closer to family, they reached out and asked if I would be willing to help again. My clients had hired a local architect to de…
