I had big visions and tried to create them myself, but nothing ever looked finished. I didn't want to invest any more money into home decor that fell flat. I spotted a W+B design on a friends Instagram page and was instantly drawn in. I told myself it was absolutely crazy to hire a design team that I found on social media who was located halfway across the country... Yet I couldn't find anyone local who's work evoked the same emotion for me. I loved every. single. project. these ladies posted. Their work is fun and always has an unexpected component that pulls the whole thing together. I decided to dip my toe with the design on demand (DOD) service for our master bedroom and from there I was able to convince my husband that we should take the plunge and hire W&B for the whole house. BEST DECISION EVER. It feels like we live in a magazine! I FINALLY got that finished look I've been trying to achieve for years. Our home has traditional bones, but we are drawn to more modern finishes. We wanted a look that blended both styles and was functional for a family with young children. Barette & Christina asked about what we did/didn't like about our home and reviewed some "inspiration" pics. From that they were able to extract our style before we even knew what our style was. They encouraged us out of our comfort zones (wallpaper? black ceilings? wallpaper ON the ceiling???) and led us to trust them with the reins, all the while keeping our specific preferences a priority. They mix high and low in an impressive manner (Homegoods looks like a garage sale to me...not to these two!).
