She also quoted us a flat design fee and a realistic budget to complete all the work. A: Thank you! That ottoman was an existing piece of the client's. Our workroom reupholstered with a new fabric and vinyl combo and painted the wooden legs. It can be fun to reinvent existing pieces! **Q: Have you had any problems with the glass tile backsplash?** *(in Photo Questions)* I have the very same thing I believe in my kitchen. Completed in December 2018. 5 tiles have developed cracks months after the project was completed. A: Oh no, that probably isn't the look you are going for! Yes it is a glass tile, and fortunately there have not been any issues with cracking in this installation. If the house is shifting or settling you may want to wait to replace, however a really good tiler can cut those out and replace. Hopefully they are all in the same area and you don't experience anymore.
