> We were looking for a Landscape Professional that understood native plants, bee and hummingbird sanctuaries and could create a lush, low-water, but still beautiful garden.  Saw Plant Goddess project at another home, and was thrilled to find her both highly knowledgeable and creative, and also a great collaborator and respectful of our requests. The yard, including front, back, side yards as well as retaining walls had all burned in the fire, but now we welcome pollinators and enjoy a renewed and delightful view from all angles.

> I worked closely with Plant Goddess on two projects in 2025: one, for a 53-unit condo complex in Pasadena CA where I am on the association's board and own a condo. Plant Goddess consulted with our board about our plans to replace traditional landscaping with a new low-water design, then presented the board with options and answered questions at a Zoom meeting of the board. New plants, soil, mulch and irrigation were installed exactly on the timeline hoped for, at very reasonable cost. The outcome is gorgeous, it pleased everyone, and many HOA members commented on how communicative, knowledgeable and reliable this company was.

> The second project was a redesign and installation of a new concept for the rear yard of a residential property my family owns in Southern Santa Barbara County near the coast. Plant Goddess came up with a new design that changed the soil elevation of the previously flat yard, planted new trees, succulents and shrubs that work with our marine climate and would require no irrigation system. Kelley, owner of this firm, is very communicative, a good listener, and has deep knowledge of plant species. She created a burbling fountain from a natural boulder, and persuaded us to install lights that create beautiful effects and shadows at night. Our yard is abuzz with butterflies, bees and birds. We created outdoor rooms for entertaining, relaxing and watching the children play. We were able to match the existing white concrete blocks for the retaining walls to match the existing architecture.

The broken concrete, or urbanite, for the front and back yard, was repurposed from a neighbor's old driveway. We designed and installed an Ipe wood deck for the back with a vegetable garden adjacent to native and Mediterranean perennials. The new patio and retaining wall are also made from upcycled concrete and a new retractable shade awning was installed by Pasadena Awning.
