Liz is a traveler drawing from the many cultures and designers she's found inspiring throughout her journeys. She moved to Seattle in 1989 to play in band, and eventually found herself managing multi-million dollar software development and engineering projects and programs for a Fortune 50 company, but always was involved in a design project or two in the evenings and weekends. When traveling for her corporate job, she realized that there was no time for design and it was missing from her life, and decided to embrace it full time and went back to school for interior design to then open her business which is licensed, bonded and insured. She understands the spirit and history of the Pacific Northwest and the heartbeat of Seattle resonates in many of her designs. We liked that her past projects weren't afraid of interesting colors/textures, we really wanted to make our kitchen our own. We did not want the traditional all-white kitchen, and we did not want to take out any walls. Liz guided us through the entire project from design, layouts to general contracting and vendor management without ever pressuring us along the way. She had really creative solutions to problems we had never even considered, and she was very flexible and welcoming of our input. We did the project in stages and hit milestones where they made sense, she was great letting us pay for services as we used them. She did an amazing job using the existing features in our house and blending it with creative and interesting design ideas. We were interested in different colors, textures, metals, woods, and she was able to incorporate all these different things without any one standing out or looking out of place. She hit our budget spot on, and finished the construction early if you can believe it. She has great relationships with local trades and always follows through on workmanship and quality. She was amazing at following up if anything did happen, like a banquette seat delivered with damage, she worked with the vendors to make it right on our behalf.
