They took payment, did not finish the project and disappeared before completing the inspections. They also damaged personal property, for example, they did not protect any of our custom kitchen and closet doors and left them ALL scratched and chipped resulting in us having to reorder them which cost thousands of dollars and several weeks of added wait time. They did not install the wood flooring correctly, as they did not glue it as the architect instructed and that resulted in us having to remove, trash and replace 2000sq ft of flooring. The site was poorly supervised and so dirty that the inspector noted it in his inspection notes and failed 3 framing inspections, causing many weeks of delays. The plumber left all of our black plumbing fixtures scratched, including a brand new tub and sink, and lost many parts i.e. faucet pieces, which we had to reorder one by one from suppliers - a huge headache. They did not follow the architectural drawings which caused some closets and kitchen cabinets not fitting in properly as the measurements of the walls were incorrect and not straight - practically everywhere. The bathroom slopes had to be redone multiple times, and the tiles seams are not well aligned. Even basic things were not done right like the wrong paint was used on the walls and shelving, with lots of hardened drips left behind, so it had to be sanded and repainted again. They took money for millwork and stone cutting, said it was ordered but we later, after waiting for weeks, found out it was never ordered, we had to pay the suppliers again. We also later learned that they had an unlicensed sub contractor install our hvac system, which was found to be hazardous the way it was installed and had to be entirely redone.
