Thank you for inquiring. Depending on desire materials and aesthetic design, each cabinet maker will design cabinetry differently... the main suggestions for elevating the units in this fashion are to use steel reinforcement or increase the thickness of wood structural components. The quality of your washer and dryer will also play a part in this. Some of the newer models can be very structurally sound when it comes to minimizing the vibrations created by the cycles.
