They listened to our needs, proposed innovative design solutions and we ended up with exactly the house we wanted. They were especially valuable during the construction phase. The documents they produced were extremely detailed, and their management of our contractor was aggressive but fair. I was also pleased with their responsiveness throughout the project- I wouldn't do another major project without them. **★★★★★ — osterwood, April 2015** > We hired Penner & Associates to design & build a garage - which turned into a integral garage and addition to our house. They designed a garage that we can fit two cars in (end to end) and a beautiful addition to the house that is one large family room, a bathroom, and space for laundry (before this addition neither of these were located on the first floor). The family room is a great space with lots of windows, 10 foot glass doors, and two sky lights. Penner & Associates worked with us throughout the whole process and were very accommodating to all of requests - really trying to make it exactly how we wanted. The new layout takes advantage of the open L-shaped design with a long bank of cabinets along the outer wall, a butler's pantry, and peninsula/bar between the kitchen and dining room. The existing wood flooring was extended through the kitchen to the dining room to tie the spaces together into a single, flowing composition. See this project in 3D: \
