I love BM. I just painted my kitchen Ellie Gray. I have Hickory cabinets in my kitchen. A: travertine silver backsplash! **Q: Are these Hickory Cabinets?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: Yes pictured here is knotty hickory cabinetry. **Q: Will a lighter floor look good with this combination** *(in Photo Questions)* I have the hickory cabinets with the black counter top, we picked a floor with beige and brown tones. A: Take several planks of the flooring you purchased (more is better). Lay the planks next to the cabinetry and consider how much natural light floods into the space, and also consider if the coloration and tone of the flooring you purchased coordinates with the cabinetry grain, paint color, counter top material and back splash material. We have installed the same cabinets and black granite countertops in our condo, but have been having trouble finding the right color wood flooring. I was wondering if you could tell me the name, color and manufacturer of the wood floors. A: The species of this wood floor is natural red oak with a darker stain. We have not carried any material from this supplier for over a year so I can't get info on the exact product but there are lots of oak floors with dark stains out there!
