**★★★★ — Sam Kachmar Architects, July 2018**

> SKA is currently working with Landmark services on a historical renovation of this stately Cambriedge home. Brian and Mark have brought astute construction knowledge to the team along with thoughtful perspectives on the historic character of the home. a valuable member of any team. Landmark services is highly recommended.

**★★★★★ — Frank Shirley Architects, March 2016**

> Our office has collaborated with Landmark Services almost without stop for ten years. We return to Landmark time and again because the projects of ours that they build turn out beautifully. The entire team is passionate about building well; they don't build to get past the one year warranty period, they build to get past the one century mark to give our clients and future owners a building of enduring substance with which to be proud. Owners Brian and Mark, an odd and successful pairing that calls to mind Oscar Madison and Felix Unger, bring a commanding knowledge of the materials and methods of historical buildings and a tenacious grip on the management of construction schedules and costs. Our office expects another ten years of successful collaboration.

**★★★★★ — jathanasoulas, Nov. 2014**

> Landmark was incredibly professional and did an amazing job with our Home Theater build out. The quality of their work was outstanding.

**★★★★★ — aMortonDesign, Sept. 2014**

> Working with the Landmark Services team was an excellent experience. Brian Roberts and I worked closely with the client during planning and design stages to ensure that decisions were made in a timely manner and in keeping with budget goals. The schedule was rigorously coordinated to begin demo as soon as the house transferred to the new owners. Construction was complete in time for their family to move in and get settled before the children started in their new school. Rob Lunter's and Brian O'Leary's management skills and attention to detail during construction gave us beautiful results with minimum stress. They treat every project with the same care as they would their own homes.

**★★★★★ — Torrey Architecture, Inc., July 2014**

> Landmark Services are builders I can trust to to implement my architectural designs with care, with great knowledge of their craft and with true appreciation of the historic homes in which they specialize.
>
> I have worked with Landmark on several projects ; my favorite was an extremely well-crafted living room pavilion, sunspace and deck, each portion requiring technical precision and the coordination of a number of construction sub-trades. The end results speak for themselves.

> Landmark has done two major projects on my house. A kitchen/family room addition in 1996 and a total renovation project in 2008 including a new third floor. Great job on both projects. Completed in a timely manner. Mark is very easy to work with.

**★★★★★ — mjcooney98, July 2013**

> Landmark Services is a tremendous company. My entire family, including my parents, myself, my wife and brother took on renovating a 1880's Mansard home and carriage house. To say the buildings need work is an understatement. We hired Landmark for what turned into an almost three year project and I have nothing but positive praise for them. They are professional and do quality work. They completed our renovation almost three years ago and we still have a very strong ongoing relationship with the Mark, Brian and Rob. If we have an issue we get a prompt response and are made to feel that even though the renovation is long over we are still important. I have recommended their services and will continue to do so.

**★★★★★ — housebb2, June 2013**

> Phenomenal quality, always on budget, great to collaborate with on design, and as minimally distruptive as is possible. Unlike other contractors we have worked with, Landmark does not undercut the price to get the job; for a complex project this can mean a savings in the actual project cost of 10's of thousands of dollars. (Learned this the hard way four times before finding Landmark.) In addition, everyone from Landmark, including the subs, have been nice to work with. For the first time, we loved our contractor at the END of the project.
>
> The details. We have a Victorian Shingle-style home built in 1895 and purchased by us in 1997. The house had a terrific amount of structural damage and no updates since the 60's. Over the last 10 years Landmark Services has done two major projects with us. The first, in 2003, was complete reconstruction of all exterior porches (including a porte cochere); construction of a new foundation for the barn; and insulation, reshingling and trim repair and painting of the entire exterior of the house and barn. The second project was a very involved renovation of 2,000 square feet on the third floor (lots of built ins) and a complete renovation of the kitchen. We lived in the house with very young children during both projects, so technically correct control of materials and air quality was essential.
>
> All of the work was of the highest quality possible. The finish carpentry on both projects was very complex and was/is particularly remarkable for the added touches that were not even in the design plan. My husband (who is a very serious cook) and Mark Landry did the kitchen layout over the internet using Google Sketch Up and, two years later, there is not a single thing that we would change.

Instead of moving, they decided to make use of their entire basement and create a Family Room and an adjacent Projects Room/Spare Bedroom. So our first step was installing a waterproofing system consisting of a French drain beneath the slab and a membrane that we applied to the inside of the foundation wa…

  - Description: We converted some useless attic space into a beautiful master bedroom suite on this 1920s house in a historic district in Weston, MA. To get the required headroom, we tore off the roof of the side ell and rebuilt it several feet higher. Because the house is in the historic district, we were careful to keep the exterior appearance as close to the original as possible. Inside we created a Master Suite that features a dressing room carved out of the hallway between bedroom and master bath. Our crew…
