Cristina asked all the right questions, showed us options, and steered us to decisions-never pushing. She came to our home multiple times to insure plans were perfect, to check on the contractor’s work, and to follow up at finish to insure there were no loose ends. When we got the cabinets the measurements were wrong ...and cabinets didnt fit, couldn't be installed... and if that wasn't enough they were missing pieces! Instead of correcting the mistake they blamed homeowners that measurements were off..wrong??? I'm sorry, isn't that designers job, that they hired? Be aware of a company that wants full payment prior to you receiving your product! It's a shame that we trusted this company and until this day they have made zero effort to fix nor refund money so we can get our kitchen back. This kitchen is about 12 1/2 feet across and 10 feet deep. Ceiling height is 8 feet. Counter-top to counter-top will be about 36" to 42" on the sink side and a little more on the refrigerator / Oven side to allow for opening and closing the refrigerator and oven. The cabinet manufacturer of this kitchen was Brookhaven by Wood-Mode cabinetry. The door style is a shaker style door with a slight back bevel to it. The finish is natural cherry which is a very light stain with a top coat to allow the full characteristics of the wood species to come through. Cherry will darken and redden over time (depending on the amount of natural UV light in the space) and you can see some of that aging shown in the attached picture. Frank Canova Jr. Diablo Valley Cabinetry **Q: Backsplash** *(in Photo Questions)* What are the different tiles used on the lower portion of the backsplash, and the diamond tiles used on the upper portion? Accent tiles? The design is very nice. A: Thanks so much for your inquiry. This kitchen included a 4" back splash from the counter-top fabricator with the tile stacked on top. The diamond tiles are consistent from lower section to upper section with a darker, coordinating square insert to create some contrast. I don't have available to me the specific tile materials as it was supplied by the tile installer / homeowner.
