They invited us into their home to show us their completed renovation and explained the process for them from start to finish. They were very pleased with their remodeling and strongly recommended P&M for consultation. > Meeting with contractors is an important step in securing a company to complete a project. We had already met with several remodeling companies who would listen to our needs/wants and then present to us a plan for our project that did not reflect those ideas for completion of the job. They just did not listen to us! > We called Mike Wurl from P&M for a meeting in January, 2020. Mike listened to our needs and hopes for a kitchen and first floor remodeling of our home. He explained that P&M has its own cabinet shop and makes all of those cabinets to order for each job. He further explained that the work on our home and our satisfaction were their utmost priority. Mike returned to our home with a drawing of what he envisioned for our home. Our first remark to him was: “You listened to us!” His plan was extremely innovative and one that none of the other builders had presented to us without exception. > March 3, 2020, our demolition began! (10 days later, our state was completely closed due to the Coronavirus Epidemic!). We remained safe and precautions were put in place for our continued safety without interruption to the project. Workers for P&M are skilled craftsmen who constantly showed consideration for not only our safety but for our privacy as well. They explained what they were doing and why certain steps were necessary for the integrity of our home’s structure. > We made some adjustments to our original plan and listened to suggestions from Mike during the process. He had some great ideas and so did we and all were discussed at length. We have discovered how helpful having drawers can be over conventional cabinets. We have lots of drawers and just love them. We did a complete tear-down to the walls and the concrete floor. The project came out great, especially the kitchen and bathrooms. P&M was competitively priced compared to the other companies we interviewed but they had lead with their kitchen cabinets. All the other companies were offering standard commercial cabinets that we needed to purchase separately. P&M offered custom cabinets that went all the way to the ceiling not your standard 42” cabinets. They came out gorgeous to say the least. Best of all, since they built the cabinets themselves, they made changes for us along the way even after the cabinet frames were installed. The cabinets were a super plus but I do not want to imply that the other rooms were just OK. They totally rebuilt the bathrooms and enlarged the master shower with new base, new wall tiles and new floors. Everything came out beyond our expectations including the redesign of the laundry room. My wife and I were super-pleased with the end result. Although we ordered a shower door with an EnduroShield Glass Coating to reduce cleaning time up to 90% and guaranteed for up to ten years+, the GDK person who came out to measure neglected to place the order correctly. This one is roughly 18 x 16. **Q: Before & After - Kitchen** *(in Before & After)* Two years ago, we bought a house with a kitchen that had badly painted red walls, yellowing oak cabinets, gray Corian countertops, and a few appliances that weren't working very well. I immediately painted the walls blue, and patiently waited for this summer... (The 1st photo is the "real" before; the 2nd photo is after painting the walls blue; the 3rd is the "real" after showing all the changes made. When I tried to edit the listing, after realizing it only accepts 4 photos, I couldn't delete photo \#2.) This year, everything but the dark hardwood floors and the blue walls were replaced. We now have... White, glazed cabinetry on the outer perimeter, and dark glazed cabinetry on a very large island. The cabinetry is from Koch & Co.
