**Q: Is the stone a stone veneer?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Love the look of this home and the color of stone, what kind is it?

A: Unfortunately I don't know the name of the stone, the secret is to pick the lightest stone you can find and have the Mason use white sand when they mix the mortar (still use typical portland mix).

**Q: I really liked the black paint on the handrail.** *(in Photo Questions)*

I really liked the black paint on the handrail of the stairs. What do I need to pull this off. There is a guard at the top of my stairs that runs across the entire top hallway. 
I don’t have moldings do you think that’s necessary

A: This handrail and post were painted (not stained) and then had polyurethane applied on top for wear.

A: I believe it's just an ogee edge.

A: It was an existing pool so our work consisted of resurfacing the patio, building the Ipe stairs, installing lights, adding a fountain, building a trellis feature... so the cost of the project wouldn't make sense without understanding the scope.

A: The entire length is 17' but each side vanity is 6'-6".
