During all phases of the upgrade Doug and the entire contracting team were extremely professional and communicated regularly about which phase they would be working on. The job was right on budget which was easy because his allowances were realistic with high quality materials. The most important aspect is the quality of work and the finished job is impeccable. The total project neared 100k, much of it structural. As first time home owners my partner and I were nervous about selecting a contractor. You hear horror stories and we didn't want to be another one. I felt comfortable with selecting Doug. He was ethical, clear, and kept in communication at all times. Though I worked with many different sub contractors and project managers everything was taken care of to my satisfaction and promptly with Doug overseeing everything.
