Inspired by travels in the South of France, we brought in time-honored materials, kept the palette very soft and calm and used antique architectural pieces to give a sense of age. This family has two active boys and had to be durable and hard-wearing.

**Q: Blue tiles** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you tell me the specifics of the blue back splash tiles please? How big are they, what is the color called and where can I buy them?

A: Hi!  This project is from 2015, we don't have those files anymore, but I believe it's a 3"x12" glossy blue ceramic tile, most likely from Garden State Tile.

**Q: Will you please share what tile you used for the laundry room floor?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hi!  We completed this project in 2015 and that tile is no longer available, but it was a 12"x24" grey porcelain.  This is a similar version: https://www.flooranddecor.com/ceramic-tile/concrete-gray-ceramic-tile-100136795.html  Hope that helps!

A: Hi Hyg, thanks for your questions!  This project was from 2015, I believe the wallpaper was by Thibaut but has been discontinued.

**Q: where can we get a similar barn door?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Where can we gift a similar barn door?

A: Hi Kimberly, this was a custom barn door made from a solid live-edge wood slab.  We had it made by a local craftsman.  You might get lucky on Etsy.com, there are a few vendors who sell solid live-edge wood slabs, or by searching for woodworkers in your area.  I hope this helps!

**Q: Countertop Spacing** *(in Photo Questions)*

Do you know how many inches between the stovetop countertop and island? We will be remodeling a galley kitchen and I’d like to know what the appropriate spacing is between the two opposing countertops. Thank you.

A: Hi Davidia, thank you for your question!  Minimum clearance required between countertops is 36", but in front of a range or refrigerator we give a minimum of 42" (prefer 48" or more, really) to make sure there is enough room to open/close appliances.
