> It is not easy envisioning a piece of furniture from a slab of unfinished wood but the staff at Local Wood VA helped greatly with samples, and photos of other projects. I was not rushed and felt that the staff understood what I wanted (a tall, narrow bar) and made good recommendations. The builder's knowledge of furniture making and experience with the materials ensured that I cam home with a sturdy, useful and beautiful heirloom.
