Besides picking one of four preset packages for interior design, there are limited options to what you are able to do to your build. However, this is the case with many builders these days unfortunately. > Along the entire build process, Brighton was a pleasure to work with. I appreciated the very thorough walk throughs and them catching and fixing blemishes on their own as well as when we noted them. They have always been there to fix something and make it right if it wasn’t correct instead of saying not our problem like I have heard so many horror stories about. Buying a home can be a challenging experience, and in this economy it’s not inexpensive. So, it is nice to feel like we are getting the customer service one would expect from a top quality builder. I would recommend the Brighton experience to anyone. They are always there for you and don’t just disappear after closing. I appreciated how prepared Caleb was, and how he had thoroughly reviewed our home inspector report. We also really enjoyed the warranty team with Tanner and having everything clearly written with a binder. We are so happy with our new home and how any concerns have been quickly handled by Brighton. The home came fully landscaped, fenced, and with sprinklers. Our home layouts is great, and I also liked that we could look at the different Floorplan online and see virtual tours. > Cons: The home selection process was unpleasant. I felt the realtor poorly communicated the process with us of a new build in our phase. We were excited to wait 2 weeks for the Great Homes Tour because of potential builder promos but then were told unassigned lots from 2 weeks prior now had permits pulled and couldn't select the house as all the lots were assigned. It makes sense to have an event and still have some open lots without the permit. That was frustrating. I also did not like when the realtor would say "I don't know that right now" and wait before he'd grab his computer to look it up - rather say "Let me look that up."
