**★★★★★ — Chris Young, July 2020**

> Although Simonson Log & Timber was not able to take on my project, Scott answered his phone & after sending some photos, Scott texted back and also called back right away and even reached out to other contractors on behalf to try and help find someone available during the busy season. Scott was very Honest and Upfront with his thoughts, and for that I give Simson Log & Timber 5 Stars for customer service and response time which can be difficult to find here in the Flathead Valley.

**Comment from Simonson Log & Timber:**

> Thank you Chris we hope to be able to work with you in the future!

**★★★★★ — Bob Rasmussen, Dec. 2017**

> I gave Scott and his team at Simonson Log & Timber a “test drive” early last summer with a small job (log porch railing section and posts) and was impressed enough with the service and the final products to approach them again in late summer (2017) for a larger project.
>
> I walked in to their shop in September with nothing but a sketch of the 10-12” log structure of my planned back porch addition to my log home. After clarifying a few dimensional details, Scott and Dane got right to work generating some CAD drawings from which we discussed a few design options, architectural pros and cons, and corresponding pricing. Throughout my one-hour visit, Dane was fully committed to accurately capturing and refining my vision for this project and - with frequent assistance and input from Scott's expertise - optimizing a final design that met my budget constraints. I walked out of the shop very confident that they knew what my needs and vision were, and that they would do a professional job with the fabrication and assembly of the log structure. Three weeks later, Dane personally delivered the finished components and met with my contractor to carefully identify all alignment marks, explain all scribe details and discuss recommended erection sequencing and techniques. Before he left, Dane offered to return to the job site "any time" for technical assembly support if needed and also agreed to chase down details for me on the location source for "my" logs.
> Throughout the entire process, I felt I was being treated like a 'big fish' even though my job was somewhat small in comparison to the very large and impressive log structures I've seen being fabricated and preassembled at the shop. Scott and Dane always made me feel welcome at the shop, were eager to show me the various fabrication techniques and tools, and were very intentional and courteous with all follow-up phone calls. In short, the entire experience was extremely enjoyable, the crew was very transparent throughout the fabrication process, and - as of last week - the finished product came together perfectly and looks great. See attached photos.
> I will not hesitate to endorse, praise, and recommend Scott and his team anytime someone asks: “Who built the log structure for your new back porch?"

**Comment from Simonson Log & Timber:**

> Thank you Bob for telling us what we did correctly on your project. Your home is coming together beautifully, inside and out. Having you as a client was a real pleasure, we look forward to working with you in the future.

**★★★★★ — Jay Johnston, Aug. 2017**

> Professional, skilled, creative, high quality, timely, and on budget are a few of the words I have used to describe my building experience with SImonson. Scott and his team really cared about getting the job done right. They asked for our input and got us involved in the selection and placement of Logs in the structural build of our home. Just what I had asked for! I was impressed with the creativity used, skill to put it all together and that they actually liked showing me how it was going to look when in place but before the logs ever went up. Also, they have continued to follow up on any questions I had. We used 3 different wood species in our home. They helped tie them all together. I highly recommend making sure your builder is using Simonson Log & Timber for Log or Timber work.

**Comment from Simonson Log & Timber:**

> Thank you very much for the feedback Jay. It has been a pleasure working with you and Denman Construction on your beautiful home!
