Unfortunately that is not the case. They are responsive. I will give them that. The problem is they mark up/ charge two to three times the price paid for the actual work. We realize they need to be paid for managing subs but the prices they quoted for tasks were way out of line from our 25 years of experience owning a home in Kiawah. So we asked them to break out their overhead and the actual cost paid to the contractors. They refused citing the "competitive market". If you want to get things done relatively quickly at any cost, this might be a good company for you. However if you care at all what you pay, I would look elsewhere. **Comment from Gamble Home Services, Inc.:** > Eric, I am sorry you were not happy with the pricing on some maintenance items for your home. I assure you that we do not charge "two to three times the price paid for the actual work". We work hard to make sure our markup is competitive with the property management companies and sub-contractors within our market. I was hopeful that you would give us the chance to explain the difference between a cost-plus job and a fixed cost job, but unfortunately, you did not allow us the chance to discuss this with you further. A: The tile backsplash in this kitchen is called Thassos Rose. A template of the area to be tiled has to be sent to vendor with the order. The tile takes about 6 weeks to arrive as a large numbered puzzle for installation. We tiled from the granite counter to the crown so the template included some detailed areas around the hood but the tile manufacturer provided a great product. The key is the installer or the person making the template. **Q: Hi- can you tell me if that grass is real or artificial? Thanks!** *(in Photo Questions)* A: This is a Palmetto Moon Synthetic Turf with a 10 year warranty. It's really amazing. It's thick and has thatch like real grass.
