We will see how it works. **★★★★★ — susan genova, June 2021** > Ro of Loyalty roofing provided a learning session on how to install a roof that will outlast my lifetime! Specifically, we talked about types of asphalt roofing shingles and how to avoid moss streaks (including zinc strips or possibly using shingle made with copper), underlayments and differences, how to water seal the peak and valleys of the home etc... I was also concerned about where the roofline met the clap boards the potential for continued rotting of the clap boards. To this end, Ro recommended doing a transition cut to follow the roofline and install a PVC board to alleviate this concern. This approach was also used on the dormers. Let me just say, the PVC boards were installed superbly and it adds to the character of the house. In terms of project management, Loyalty is a well-greased machine! The team showed up at 6:30 AM and finished day 1 around 8PM - long hours of continuous work. The home site was left very clean, and all shingle debris/nails were disposed of. Also, the delivery of the dumpster, materials and removal was day before/day after project started. Laryssa was a pleasure to work with and provided clear and detailed quotes along with scheduling of the job site. The project was completed on time and on budget which by the way, they did a lot of work for the monies paid in comparison to the other quotes that I also received which was higher just for the roofing only. The new roof exceeded my expectations, it is just beautiful! Ro and team are at the top of their game and I am so pleased that I chose them to replace my roof! Use them, you won’t be disappointed. Our issue was physically small but had potential to do great damage. We had a leak into our family room that originated from the design of the roof around the chimney. Romulo was not our first contact, rather, my husband had called several other companies closer in proximity to us. These companies either didn't return our call after detailed messages were left, gave us a distant date to evaluate or just outwardly refused our business. No one was interested in a small job. We were frustrated, to say the least. From the first moment of contact, Romulo treated us and this job with respect, recognizing it was a small repair but that it was imperative to correct it to avoid further damage. His full scope of work was comprehensive- from initial evaluation, to redesign of the roof configuration around the chimney, to special ordering a new chase for the chimney and finally to the work itself, even working himself into the night before to clear ice to ensure the job could get done and get done right. It was freezing the day of the job and Romulo's crew kept going, no short cuts, to completion. We are incredibly thankful to Romulo because he genuinely cared about us. The path to completion wasn't perfect. We did have chase ordering hiccups and other jobs delaying him getting to us, but most importantly, he kept in contact through all to relay what was happening. This gave us peace of mind, knowing how busy he was, yet he took the time to reassure us that we were still a priority. He and I had several text exchanges/phone calls through this time and as I told him after all was done, we fully respected him because he respected us and our little roof repair. He, as a businessman, recognizes that if he builds a relationship with a customer on a small job, that customer is going to remember him for subsequent and bigger jobs.
