Hello there!

Thanks for stopping by our page, please feel free to save any projects to your profile and ask any questions you might have.

A little bit about myself, my name is Vivian Sojo and I have over 14 years of Kitchen and Bath remodeling experience. I specialize in kitchen and bath but will work with your in other rooms as well. I have helped designed for G.J Gardner custom homes, London Properties, Housing Authority, Fresno PD among many more commercial and residential projects. I do love working with clients to help renovate a room and make it functional for them and their families. I am a retailer for cabinets and plumbing supplies, I have over 8 different cabinet lines to help meet all budget needs. I have anywhere from RTA (ready to assemble) to custom cabinets made locally or in Canada. My granite, tile and cabinet crew are very professional and keen to their craft.

I have worked with Pottery Barn, local construction and granite companies before starting my own business. The reason for this was to help with my local community through volunteering and donating to ENP a faith build non-profit that provides Saturday sports and lunch to children and Ronald McDonald House Charities. We are also helping in building a school in Congo Africa. Kulungu for Congo is a faith based non profit-organization, in the past 3 years since it launched we have opened a computer center, fed 200 families/year, donated over 500 bibles, and drilled a water well. This year is an exiting year for us, we now have land for crops and working on purchasing land for the school. We are grateful to all of our clients who with their remolded have helped fund all of this. We will continue our work in helping our local community and providing aid to those in need; meanwhile providing excellent customer service to our clients.

> Initially, Vivian was very pleasant to deal with. However the first major red flag occurred when she came to do her final measurements and presented us with the first official estimate for the job. Using all Merit cabinets her quote was about 56K. Using mostly Lectus cabinets (non-custom) it was almost 48K. When we had first met, she told me that she could do my kitchen remodel with a budget of 30K, not including appliances. You can imagine my surprise when the bill came in at almost double our budget with no ability to get my 1500 dollar deposit back. The second major red flag occurred after her contractor determined a wall we were going to remove couldn’t be fully removed like he had initially said. Vivian took it upon herself to radically redesign the kitchen around a 6x6 post that would now replace the wall. When my wife and I decided it wasn’t practical for our small space, we could tell she seemed frustrated by our decision. After this, she was reluctant to make a minor modification to her original design that accounted for the partial wall removal and post saying “it won’t look good”. When I pushed her, she said that she understands that I feel uneasy about the remodel (which was not the case), and that it usually doesn’t take this long to move forward. She then went on to say that she had already done numerous layouts (2 total) for me and to take my time to reflect on those, and that she wants to make sure we are a good fit and aren’t wasting each other’s time. For me, this came straight out of left field. Her contractor screwed up, she gets an idea of her own volition and completely redesigns the kitchen, then when we don’t choose it decides we may not be a good fit??? This interaction really soured things between her and I because it made me feel hesitant to ask her about any modifications to the kitchen design - which if I’m not mistaken is what I had paid her 1500 dollars for. She eventually gave in and made the slight modification, but things were never the same after that. Her communication became less frequent, and we could tell she wasn’t prioritizing our project. Eventually, when I confronted her about this, she cancelled our project and kept our deposit without fully finishing the design.
> There were numerous other issues along the way, such as forgetting key project details after discussing them on multiple occasions, an incredible amount of typos in her communications, forgetting to send or sending the wrong email attachments, not providing us the information or samples we requested by the deadlines stated, not answering or only partially answering questions - even at one point saying she has “large projects from the Bay Area to LA” and just doesn’t have the time. Our lasting impression after the four month experience is that she is passive aggressive, generally unorganized, frequently rushed, late on her deadlines and sloppy in her attention to detail. I cannot in good conscience recommend her to anyone.

> It will probably be ok for a Tract homes but not for custom. Basically the owner is like a broker who just sublet the order to different installer. The workmanship is very ordinary and very poor follow up and no pride in ownership. I spent more than $25k with her but for simple repair or follow up to adjustment and fixing the problem, it was a big hassle. There is minimum flexibility with installation and more importantly just no backup of what they do. So you are at your own luck after the installation.

> Had our Kitchen completely Renovated.
> Had to have it custom made because the home was real old. They did an excellent job with everything was really happy the way the counter was matched well with the backsplash.

> Vivian has a fine talent in design and my kitchen came out fabulous everything the way we wanted with a beautiful black diamond granite countertops and all wood cabinets installed proffesionally and any problems that I have had were minor and she had the problem resolved and fixed right away.Very easygoing and easy to talk too so that made the process soo much better over all the quality and craftsmanship are above excellent .I could put a picture or two but pictures sometimes dont show the excellent quality and craft behind her work. The Kitchen was soo outdated when I bought my house and she came very well reccomended. You want a beautiful kitchen and maybe a brilliant idea or two on additions and what would complement the cabinets and granite countertops you might be putting in then hire her and watch the magic happen right before your eyes along with backsplash and all stainless steel appliances Bar none I know I have the best looking kitchen on my block. My has was a project to begin with but hiring her to do my kitchen and redesign and configure to the way we wanted it absolutely awesome. She is rated tops around the valley and the work speaks for itself. Thank you vivian for giving my house a kitchen it deserved and more.Hire her if you're looking to get your kitchen redone you regret it. Proffesional work and will work with you around your budget to give you exactly what you need.

  - Description: This Mexican hacienda style kitchen was in a ranch. I worked with our client on choosing the right colors and incorporated them with the vision she had for her Mexican style hacienda kitchen. Our client wanted an open concept kitchen from her previous galley kitchen. Her pantry, refrigerator and electric stove were on the wall across from her sink. We moved the refrigerator to the opposite wall, removed the pantry and gave her a gas stove. We opened the wall instead of removing it completely bec…

## Community Q&A

**Q: Difference between items?** *(in Product Questions)*

What's the difference between this item and Houzz Product ID\# 10219921? That's also an Amba Swivel Jill that has four looped sections but it is only $273.

A: Hello,
Thank you for your question. I am not able to find that product number on houzz website. It could be that its a completely different model. This particular one Amba J-B004 Swivel and it is a plug in. The one you are looking at may be hardwire or it may have a lower voltage. You may want to look at the specs to compare between the two. Hope this is an informative answer to help answer your question.
Have a wonderful day! :)

**Q: How useful is this item as a radiator?** *(in Product Questions)*

The bathroom is already heated, but is this strong enough to provide extra heat to the room?

A: Hello,
This does not have the capacity of a radiator, it is a towel warmer. However, you can choose to purchase one with a timer and have it turn on 30 minutes before you wake up and shower and it will warm your bathroom, thus you won't need to turn your heater in that particular room.

**Q: Where is this island made?** *(in Product Questions)*

A: Hello Jeff,
Jeffrey Alexander is a brand made from Hardware Resources. HR is an American company, with warhorses all over the United States.

**Q: how long would it take to ship to los angeles** *(in Product Questions)*
