> 4/25
> Updating this review. I was contacted by leadership at Sprovieri's, who came out and agreed that the counters needed some extra work and have agreed to have them refinished. Updating from 1 to 3 stars, and if we can get these countertops fixed and sealed, I'll update again. Feeling optimistic.

> 4/17
> Our new quartzite countertops are staining and absorbing even water. After doing a lot of research and talking to the stone manufacture and other professionals, the general consensus is the counters were not sealed properly.
>
> Sprovieri's initially tried to help, but were not able to remove stains and have now refused to resolve the issue and reseal the countertops, suggesting we contact and pay for someone else to do stone restoration work.
>
> Very disappointed and would not recommend.

> Sprovieri's is truly the best place for countertops. We have used Sprovieri's for our kitchen remodel, bathrooms & laundry room. I have had other places around Chicagoland give us quotes, but no one even comes close to Sprovieri's prices. Only a 3 day time frame to get an appointment for a measurement (which is a really high tech process with lasers - no gluing wood pieces to make a template) and the counters fit PERFECTLY, matching every quirky part of an older, settled home. (The lead time to install is 15 working days from approved drawings after measure.). Their shop is HUGE & runs fabricating shifts round the clock - so the installation is a quick turnaround too. Sounds too good to be true, but this is real. Also, they do such a huge volume of fabrication, their remnant area is MASSIVE! They have a standard, amazing price on ALL remnant pieces. Also, they can send you to many different stone yards to choose your slabs, allowing you to find whatever you need from real stone to modern quartz. I would only use Sprovieri's for countertops.

> I am a Residential Interior Designer who recently used Sprovieri's for my client's kitchen remodel. We choose a Cambria counter in Torquay for her kitchen counter. I brought my client to visit their beautiful showroom and worked with Danielle who helped my client understand the different choices for her kitchen counter. Danielle is a true professional and look forward to working with her again in the near future. From the measuring appointment to the installation the process was flawless and professional. Sprovieri's is now my resource for all future projects including kitchens, bathrooms, entertainment areas, and fireplaces.

> For the last couple years we have used Sprovieri's as our go to countertop professional. Danielle and her staff are always courteous and timely. We would definitely recommend their services to others.

## Community Q&A

**Q: countertop material?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you please tell me what materials the countertop/sink are made of?

A: Hi Allison,

This material is Silestone Quartz Carbono.

Thanks!

**Q: What is the cabinet color and countertop?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hi Jamie,
I am unsure of the cabinetry in this room, but the countertop is an engineered quartz. Specifically, Silestone Crabono 2cm with miter edge and mitered waterfall legs. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thank you,
Sprovieri's

**Q: Kitchen** *(in Design Dilemma)*

What's the trendy colour for kitchen countertops?

A: If you are trying to be "trendy" I would stay away from the 4" backsplash. A lot of our clients go for the full height countertop backsplash or tile to the countertop.

**Q: Help me pick a kitchen countertop!!** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I need help picking out a countertop. I am going for the contemporary look. I'm 95% sure I'll go with quartz. Do you guys have any ideas?

A: Hi Cameron,
You have great cabinetry for a variety of different options. Are you looking for something with movement or pretty solid?

**Q: Bar sink material?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

what type of bar sink material to go with a polished Nickel bar faucet? stainless work?

A: Hi Libby, what is your bar countertop color/material?

**Q: Which Backsplash with Calacatta Nuvo ?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I am looking to install Caesarstone Calacatta Nuvo in my kitchen on island and surrounding countertops. Cabinets will be Benjamin Moore Chelsea Gray. I can't decide on a backsplash- I love Carrera Marble Herringbone but worry that will compete (or not match and be too casual) with the countertops. Do you think that matches or would you go with white subway tile or glass tile to keep simple? Any other suggestions? Thank you!

A: I agree with London Staging and Design. I just had a client go with a full height backsplash in the same Calacatta Nuvo material as the countertop and it looked beautiful, gave it the classic clean look. However, if you cannot afford the full height then I would go with the solid grey to match the vein. Mixing and matching real marble and marble mimics is tough, especially with a color like Calacatta Nuvo. Calacatta Nuvo is not "white". It has a more creamy/off white background, which in my opinion will look very funky in your kitchen with white subway tile. My opinion is to match the veining. Good Luck!
